Calum once again felt stressed the moment he woke up. He was going with Danielle to her appointment. And once again, Michael had to force Calum out of bed.
He just felt so drained now. He had no idea what to do with himself.
"Calum, are you okay?" Michael asks, hearing a loud noise and Calum groan.
Michael lets himself into the bathroom, to see Calum on the floor, next to the toilet, about to be sick.
"Oh, fuck." Michael mutters, steeping into the bathroom and crouching down to Calum.
"I feel so lightheaded, I feel like I'm going to vomit. I can't do this." Calum chokes out, his eyes closed as he runs a hand through his hair.
"Hey, it's just an appointment." Michael says, reaching up to grab the glass of water on the counter for Calum.
"To see my baby. Oh my god, to see my baby." Calum mutters before leaning over, getting sick.
Michael hands the glass over to Calum once he's done, weakly smiling at him.
Calum takes the glass, tears welling up in his eyes.
"This sucks, I know. I'm so, so sorry." Michael softly says, looking over at him with a frown. He felt so bad for Calum, he didn't know what to do.
"I can't believe this is happening. I really don't know how this is happening." Calum whispers, tears rolling down his face.
"I think you do know, but anyways, you're going to be late if you don't leave soon." Michael says, feeling even worse now that he's basically forcing Calum out the door.
Calum nods, standing up. He finished getting ready, once again, after being sick before heading towards the door.
"Good luck at the appointment. You better tell me how things went when you get back." Michael says, smiling at Calum as he's walking out the door.
Calum was taking deep breaths as he walked to his car, he was way too stressed out. He knew Danielle would freak out if she saw Calum like this.
Traffic wasn't as bad as usual, so he didn't have as much time to think during the car ride.
Danielle was waiting for him outside when he pulled up. She couldn't help but smile at him as soon as she saw him.
Calum on the other hand, he forces a smile as she gets in the car, trying to cover up how he's currently feeling.
"Hey, Cal." She says, leaning over and quickly kissing his lips.
"Hey, Dani." He smiles, reaching out and grabbing her hand before they head out.

Calum felt like he was going to pass out during the seconds before the ultrasound happened.
The second he saw that tiny spot on the screen, and the woman doing the ultrasound said it was their baby, he could feel his heart beating out of his chest.
He felt a whirlwind of emotions in that moment. There was no way to explain how he felt.
Danielle held onto Calum's hand as the woman he couldn't remember the name of said something about staying quiet to see if she could find the heartbeat. Calum hoped it wasn't too early, he wanted to hear it.
The woman smiles up at the couple, "There it is. There's the heartbeat."
Danielle gently squeezes Calum's hand, making him smile.
The baby was real. Calum could hear the heartbeat, he could see the tears of joy in Danielle's eyes, he could see the tiny picture on the screen that looked like a blob, but it was a baby.
