The Romantic Era

So I saw this band twice in the summer of 2015. I'll talk about the first show right now.

So I had this bands EP for a few years and I'd randomly listen to it. But one day I was like "Hey, what if they're still together? What if they have social media?" So I look them up on Instagram, and I'll be damned, they're still going! Let me remind you, the cd I have is from 2012. There was a few different members now, but two or three of them were original members. Then I saw they had a show coming up! I asked if I could go, I was allowed, so I went.

It was at a outdoor patio restaurant that had a makeshift stage on a big green space beside the patio. I went with my parents for dinner and to see the show. We ate afterwards, but that's not the point.

I suddenly see Christa, one of the lead vocalists, just standing around. I was like "Mom! That's Christa! From The Romantic Era! Go talk to her for me?" Because I was so shy then. I asked for a picture and Christa was so nice! Was even had the same teal hair color on the tips of our hair, which she pointed out first.

Then on went to the show, which was awesome. I was so stunned because I was like "Wow. I've listened to their one and only EP for so long but here they are now, with new content that sounds even better than the last."

After the show I met Conner, one of the original members from the very beginning. He was so cool and I got a picture with him. I told him I played guitar and he said that's great and to never give it up, because music is something that stays with you forever.
