So here's something more recent. Panic! At The Disco played directly in my home town- and mind you, my city is pretty small and we never have a big artist play right in the city.
Naturally, when I saw he was playing, I flipped. I love Panic! At The Disco and was freaking out asking my parents for tickets and everything for days. We got tickets, and the were so cheap- ringing it at $25 a pop. I know, right?
I invited my friend Emily (KoKomaedaPuff ) along because when I told her I got tickets, she really wanted to go, and so that's when I knew who I wanted my plus-one to be for the show.
The concert was held in a local college's gym. When we walked in we were so excited. I actually met up with three other people I knew and saw there just by chance, so we were a group. This was a standing concert, and there was a ton of college kids around us, including really tall people. It sucked. But we moved up really really close to the stage. Not right at the barricade, but a few rows of standing people back: that's where we were. Secret Weapons opened and I had never heard of them before, but they were really cool and I'm glad they were the opener.
The show was amazing. I love Brendon Urie so much. His vocal range is incredible. I'd love to meet him someday, he's one of my musical idols. He's just so talented and I'm so glad he's kept the Panic! At The Disco brand alive despite everyone else leaving.
This was an off tour show, right before the Death Of A Bachelor tour had begun, so they played a ton of different songs. A few of them were Bohemian Rhapsody (god bless), LA Devotee, Time To Dance, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, This Is Gospel, Casual Affair, and so many more. Those are just a few off the top of my head. It was one of my most favorite concerts I've ever been to.
