This will be short, but oh well.
My first was so fun. We were paid $100 for the whole band, and we were the first band to play. We got free pizza, donuts, and water for the whole day. We had some really nice pictures taken of us and a ton of people came up to me throughout the day to say how nicely I sang how well my band did. Fun fact: we technically opened for Sun King Warriors!
I met Dave from The Town pants and got a picture with him, and I met Jim Donavin himself, an original member from Rustic Root who now plays with Sun King Warriors! I got a picture with him and chatted for a bit, and then I talked to the bassist for a little bit too about music stuff and got a picture as well. I hung out with my friends Sam, Ezra, and Lottie for awhile there. It was such a great day and night.
We're welcome back to play next year. (:
