Chapter Two The night

Big brother walked me back to my room so I could get some rest. I don't understand why he's always so different when I'm around. After all I am a big girl I can do anything by myself or we'll almost anything being shorter then Yuki makes me feel helpless. Cross wasn't sure if I would be able to help guard the school but that's okay I'd rather have fun. After hours of tossing and turning I figured I could sleep better after a nice walk by the lake.

     Standing up cracking open my window enough for me to fit through I jumped. Scraping my knees I ran off into the woods to find the body of water. As I approached the opening I heard voices one in particular that made me smile. Big brother was here causing me to rush over only to see something a little heart breaking. The group around him eyes flashed red at my appearance. They seemed to be in a heated argument until I arrived.

"Miss.Kiryu nice to see you." Akastki spoke acknowledging my presence.

"Hello it's nice seeing you again." I beamed forgetting they were ganging up on my brother.

"So this is your sister." A bright blonde boy exclaimed getting close to me. I hid myself behind Zero from the strange voice of a boy whom I didn't know.

"Back off monster." Zero spoke harshly.

"Monster how funny should that be something we add to your offences against us and Lord Kaname." Ruka spoke voice coated in venom.

"Offences?" I questioned my big brother.

"Don't worry dear sister its nothing to worry about they just believe things should go differently." He said reassuringly until that girl tried to attack him lunging for his throat.

"That is enough Ruka. Why are you stooping so low." A voice spoke from behind some trees, "after all, you're scaring poor Jay." Soon Kaname appeared before us smiling at me.

Big brother tensed at the sight of him. I just don't understand why is it because he likes Yuki too. Ugh that's right he likes Yuki. Only then why is he so nice to me. My thoughts were soon interupted by the devil herself showing up jumping down from some trees. I hate her so much I just don't get why everyone likes her more. As my brain was fighting the urge to cry I huffed. Folding my arms across my chest I began pouting.

"That is enough you all need to get back to class and Jay you should be in bed." Yuki's voice soften towards me as she looked innocently at the group before her. Kaname being the gentleman he is smiled happily at the girl making me sigh and I guess I little to loud.

"It's just not fair." I whined gaining looks from everyone even Ruka. Zero dropping his guard turned around hugging me.

"Aw what's wrong little girl?" The blonde asked bowing down to me.

"I, I well no, no it doesn't matter. Big brother will you tuck me in tonight? I can't sleep." I asked squeezing my eyes shut in fear he'd say no.

"Yes sweet little sister I would love too." He answered knowing I might start throwing a fit soon from exhaustion.

"Well I hope you start feeling happier soon young Kiryu." The boy beamed with a bright smile only with that Kaname broke eye contact with Yuki.

"Miss.Kiryu it was nice seeing you again. I wish we could've talked longer." He spoke as his smile fell a little making me sadden.

"Sorry Dorm President Kuran. If only you weren't preoccupied. " I said leaving my words to fall to a whisper as Zero carried me back to the room. Zero tucked me in and told me stories about when we were younger. I fell asleep with dreams filled with love.

I awoke the next morning realizing it was Saturday and I had absolutely nothing to do. Zero had a mission from the vampire society so he can't pay attention to me. So after dressing in a nice lolita dress I ran off to the moon dorms. Someone had to be there to pay attention to me. Walking off slowly I noticed it was awfully quiet today. No cute creatures roaming the wooded area around the school. Nor any butterflies filling the courtyard. As I made it to the entrance of the dorms a man stopped me looking me over.
