Chapter Three Jealously

     I snuggled closer to the warmth next to me trying to go back to sleep. Taking in the reality of the situation I shot up to my feet. the last person I was with was Kaname. An if that's the case big brother is sure to be mad at me. I bet right now he's worried sick. Hearing a chuckle I was snapped out of my trance. Looking over I noticed my big brother rubbing sleep out of his eyes.

     "Big brother I'm so sorry if I made you worry yesterday. I'm not sure how I got home though." I stammered bowing a little.

     "Dearest Little Sister never feel the need to apologize and don't worry about how you got home. Get ready for school I'm sure we're close to being late." He responded patting my head before leaving my dorm room.

     Sighing I bathed and changed my uniform before running off to class. deciding on the fun way. I jumped out of my window doing a flip before landing on my feet. Smiling at how I've mastered this without getting hurt. skipping off to class with a big smile I seen that Kuran boy walking to the head masters office. Soon I was met with my classroom full of awful people. They were just so rude to others for no reason. making my way in I sat down next to big brother. whom seemed to be to preoccupied with Yuki to notice my arrival.
     Silently huffing I opened my notebook and began taking notes. Might as well try to work hard while I can. I just don't understand why he always will only pay attention to her when she is around. The morning progressed slowly making me even more grateful for lunch. Slipping out of the classroom before big brother could finally noticed me I dashed off. Maybe I am being childish but he hasn't talked to me since before he left this morning. As I made it to the café on campus I bought a muffin and coffee to enjoy under the big tree in the center of the courtyard.
     Making my way over to the tree I smiled at the students around me. I wish they could be as nice as they all look. Then maybe we could actually be friends and smile together. I laughed at my silly ordeal before being brought back to reality.

     "Dear Yuki why must you always make me worry about you?" Kaname asked holding her hand as they stood almost behind the building.

     "Kaname I never intended to make you worry really. I just don't wish to bother you." She responded sincerely making me huff. I notice the  handsome boy chuckle a bit. Only soon their sweet moment was interuppted by big brother.

      "Why don't you just stay away from her." He spoke through gritted teeth. Of course everyone is always so worried about Yuki. Kicking a rock I began to loose my apatite it's not as if anyone would notice. Standing up I threw my muffin away and decided to walk up to them.

     "Kaname it's nice to see you again I'm sorry if I was an nusense yesterday, but thank you for spending some time with me." I giggled brushing some hair behind my ear blushing a bit.

     "It was nothing Jay really the pleasure was all mine little one." He responded smiling at me. Zero stood there baffled at the conversation starting before him.

     "Little sister it would be best for you to stay away from them all." His voice came out like burning coals sizzling on my ears. My brain reject the sudden thought of not talking to them. Huffing I crossed my arms over my chest before starting to cry. I just don't understand why he just won't notice me or what's really going on.

     "My little Daisy don't cry here let's get you some rest." Kaname spoke though an all knowing smirk to the situation because if anyone did know. The only person would be Kaname the only other person she could open up to. Holding her arms up he carried her away to the moon dorms.

     "Where do you think you are going with my little sister!" Big brother shouted out to us. The distance becoming greater between us.

     "Sweet flower don't cry." Kaname cooed into my ear.

     "But, I just, big brother. Ughh." I huffed crying harder.

     "How about I make you a cup of tea and we read a book." He spoke softly stroking my hair.

     "I. I think I would really love that." I hiccuped trying to calm myself down laying on the chair. I say there in silence until I heard his office door open. Revealing Sinri in the frame with a small smile playing at his lips.

     "I thought I smelt you around young Kiryu.: he spoke leaning against the frame head cocked to the side.

     "Shiki!"I squealed wiping my tears.rushing him into a hug, " Shiki I'm so glad you're here. One of the few people who seem to never forget about me." I chuckled at last statement.

     "Why would you think others could forget about someone as sweet and delicate as yourself?" He questioned hugging me back, " speaking of which are you coming to the party tonight?"

     "Oh well no I don't believe I was invited actually. " I spoke softly as a voice fell to a whisper feeling a few more tears fall.

    "I'm sure it's because Aido wasn't aware you would've liked to come. So why don't you come with me? You can take a nap before hand since it's so late."

    "Thay would be absolutely lovely thank you Shiki!" I exclaimed hugging him tightly as he gave a a box a pocky.

     "Take care sweet flower don't let the people who seem to care take advantage of you." He smiled before disappearing before me.

     By the time Kaname returned I was enjoying my pocky looking over an old leather bond book. The book reflected over vampire history. This book was quite fascinating if you ask me.

     "Did something peak your interest?" He asked sitting beside me.

    "Yes actually. I've known for. Very long time Vampires exist I know Zero and dad just try and hide it from me. I don't understand why.  So a book on actually history just pulls me in no matter what.  We don't even have vampire lore in our house at all. An I know dad used to be a hunter so why lie about it?" I questioned more to myself then anyone as I answered him.

    "Maybe they don't want you to live with fear."Kaname spoke kindly of my family. Only now that I think about it Yuki used to talk about him a lot. I just wish I could remember about what.

     "Kaname why is it  brother and Yuki act as if they've known you for years?" I ask looking at the boy before me with so much wonder.

     "It seems there are some things I shouldn't be telling you. Well at least not yet. My sweet flower wait patiently and your answers will bloom." His voice was smooth drawing me into him. Accepting his answer not wanting to annoy a boy I bearly knew.

     "I'm sure you've read these book already. It looks pretty worn on would you tell me about it? I would really enjoy hearing what you've gained from this book. Kaname smiled pulling me on to his lap as he began explaining the contents of the book. My eyes soon became heavy as my dreams soon took me over. The room was dark as I seen a little version of Yuki run up to my big brother. He hugged me tightly to his chest. Big brother would never let something happen to me.

     "Stay away!" He yelled I could see my small self crying clinging to his chest.

     "Here let me help you all." Yuki said calmly with a reassuring smile guiding big brother and I too the bathroom. Realization finally hit we were covered in blood. Zero was shaking so bad he had a big wound on his neck. Big brother just what is happening.

     Waking up to a scream I started to cry. What was going on in my dream. Why would my mind make something like this up. Four people surrounded me all with concerned faces. Kaname looking the most concerned pain evident on his face. What exactly just happened?

     "Jay are you alright?" Shiki spoke up resting his hand on my arm. Sitting up even more confused I smiled shaking my head yes. Everyone seemed to overwhelm me with questions except Kaname.

     "Thays enough everyone we will see you all at the party now go get ready." He spoke sternly to them causing them to leave without even a goodbye.
