Your POV
I'm so excited. Me and Gerard are going to the fair today. Well, not really. He said he'll be going to the fair so I'm going to the fair. He also promised to ride the Zipper with me. I can't wait. I'm looking forward to it.
"Who are you going with?" My dad asked.
"Friends," I answered.
"Okay, have fun." He said as I get off the car and walk to the entrance.
As I wait on the line, I text Gerard.
Me: Hey, I'm at the fair rn, where are you?
After I sent the text, I went to the counter.
"Just for the fair please," I said.
"Okay, that'll be $11."
"Thank you," I said as I payed and went to the gate to give half my ticket and a stamp on my wrist.
As I was walking to the fair, I again text Gerard.
Me: dude I'm here at the fair where are you?
But he didn't reply. I walked to the ticket station and got an all day wristband which is $40.
I'm kind of upset bc he's not responding.
I decided to walk around the fair and take a look at the rides. As I was walking around, I saw Gerard, I was about to approach him but saw him with a girl. Oh.
He didn't say he would hang out with me. He just said he would ride the Zipper with me.
It's fine, it's not like we're in a relationship or something.
I was trying to make Gerard notice me. But when he did, he just looked at me and ignored me.
Wow.
I went to the Zipper by myself and looked at it. It looks so much fun.
As I was staring at the Zipper someone put a hand over my shoulder and looked it was Jay.
"Looks fun doesn't it?" He asked.
"Yeah,"
"Wanna ride it with me?" He asked smiling.
I thought I would ride it with Gerard but guess not.
"Sure," I said as we got on the line.
I texted my best friend Jaypee,
Me: Dude, I thought I would be riding it with Gerard but I'm riding it with Jay rn.
Jaypee: looks like you replaced Gerard to Jay lol
Me: bruh, Jay asked me to ride it with him. I wanted to ride with Gerard but he just ignored me when he saw me -_-
Jaypee: oh
I was about to reply a 'yeah' but it was our turn to ride. I put my phone in my backpack and put my backpack next to the exit door on the box.
I wished Gerard rode it with me, I thought.
As it was starting, everything is so thrilling.
It goes slow at first then it goes fast. My seat was doing flips, it's so fun.
"Dude, we gotta do more flips," I said.
"Of course, this is real fun."
I agreed.
The ride went about two times forward then went backwards. As the ride stopped, we were like stuck in the sky because someone was getting off. People are getting off one by one.
Me and Jay looked at each other then smirked.
"Let's rock this!" I said.
Then, me and Jay leaned back and forward doing it again and again. We were almost to flipping but it our turn to get off.
"Aww, its over, dang it, its so fun tho." I said looking at the Zipper.
"Yeah," he said.
I was about to say something when Gerard appeared.
"Hey!" I said as I greeted Gerard.
He was with two girls.
"Hey," he said as he smiled. He was like hurrying for some reason. After he said hey to me, he walked away with those two girls. Wow rude.
After I went here to the fair just to go ride the Zipper with him, he ditches me? Wow amazing.
Time Skip
I went to get food because is life duh. I bought mini cinnamon sugar doughnuts. They are so delicious omg, I can eat it all day.
I checked the time, it was about, 8:30pm. I will be going home after the fireworks which is like 10:30 or 11:00, depends.
As I was eating, I saw Gerard looking around, it was like he was looking for someone.
When he saw me, a look of relief was on his face. I probably had a confused look on my face.
"Finally, I found you." He said, sitting next to me.
"You found me? What, did your 'friends' leave?" I asked glaring him.
"What's wrong? Why are you mad?" He asked.
"Why am I mad? Gerard, you said you would go on the Zipper with me but you didn't. When I said hi to you earlier when you were with those 'girls', you walked away after you greeted me back. The first time I came here, I went looking for you and when I found you, you look at me and ignore me. Amazing Gerard, just amazing." I said rolling my eyes.
"I'm sorry alright? I haven't seen them for a long time and I wanted to spend time with them." He said.
"I understand that Gerard but you didn't have to ignore me!"
"Look, I'm sorry. I'll ride it with you I promise."
"Really? When? When your friends leave?" I said rolling my eyes once again.
"No, right now."
"Can't you see? I'm eating."
"I don't care," he says as he takes my hand and drags me to the Zipper.
"Gerard, I just ate."
"So?"
Ugh.
We lined up and the whole time Gerard was holding my hand. I couldn't help but hold his hand too, I intertwined our fingers together. Damn, I'm bipolar.
When it was our turn, Gerard took my delicious doughnuts and put them aside so they won't get thrown when we're spinning. It was the same spot I put my backpack on.
"Let's go," he said.
I nodded and went on the ride with him.
As it was starting, I was looking out the view. It's so beautiful.
Then, Gerard squeezed my hand. I realized, we're still holding hands.
"What?" I asked.
"I'm sorry again, here, this is my sorry." He said as he leaned in and fully kissed me on the lips.
Holy shiet.
My eyes widened. He was moving his lips and he was like waiting for me to kiss back.
Holy shiet, what do I do?
I didn't know what to do so I just kissed back.
He put a hand on my right cheek and continued kissing me.
Wow.
Best ride ever.
He pulled away when the seat started to spin and do flips.
I swear, best fall fair year ever.
