The Infant Chapter 24

~~~~~Chapter 24: The end has ended~~~~~

I had no idea what to do. I shake the infant, just trying to wake her up. Why? Why has it come to this? Why does everything bad happen to me? Right now, all I feel is weight on my shoulders, really heavy weight. I look down to my hand, the 'T' was still there, and is probably going to be permanent. Wait a minute. Does this mean that all the hell girls are dead? I mean, that's a good thing though, even though the infant couldn't see it. I stand up, put the infant/Amy in my arms and walk out of that dark room.

I walk out of the gates and travel my way round the mountain until I get to the place where we started. All of a sudden, the mark on my palm was glowing again, but this time, I knew what was happening. I slowly lifted my arm until my arm was just pointing directly in front of me. Then, I saw more light, even though it was broad daylight outside, I could see this little circle of light. In a few moments the little small light turned into what appeared as a portal. Is this my way back home? I step into the circle of light and there I was. Right in the middle of my street. I still had the infant/Amy in my arms. I take one step and the infant/Amy flinches just a bit. I sit down on the sidewalk and see if she flinches again. She did and then she opens her eyes. "Hey, are you alright, we beat Zargon, we did it, everything is alright now!" i say, full of excitement. "Memy, what are you saying?" says Amy. I'm in shock. The infant never called me Memy, is this actually Amy? "No, you are the infant aren't you, you are possessing Amy right?" I ask, feeling afraid and confused. "Memy, what did you say, Amy doesn't understand you." Amy looks at me in confusion. No, NO, it can't be, is the infant...really...gone? I can't believe it. The infant is gone. It's the end now. I have a 2 year old girl and my parents are gone. What am I going to do. I hear thunder. I look up to find heavy dark grey clouds in the sky. More thunder. The sky made my mind even more cloudy and clueless than ever. Will I ever hear the infant's voice again?!
