"I think it's time for a break, don't you? And Elena are you okay? I've noticed that you've been a little off today. You can always talk to me if something's bothering you, you know." Rose said and I gave her a small smile, shoving the books aside. We were currently at my place working on our chemistry project. A lot of work has already been done but we still had a lot to do. "I'm fine Rose, I promise. I'm just a tired. Are you thirsty? I'll get us something to drink." I said mot waiting for her answer before making my way downstairs. Honestly, I didn't really feel comfortable with her asking me if I was alright. I knew that I could break any moment if she kept asking and I didn't want her to find out. No one could find out and I hoped Luke would keep his mouth closed too.

Yeah I have been quit absent today but can you blame me? I tried acting as normal as possible though but I guess my acting skills weren't as I wanted them to be.

I was just getting some Coke for Rose when I heard the door slam, which caused me to jump in place. "God damn Justin! Don't do that to me asshole!" I joked but he just walked past me without answering. That was so not Justin. "Justin? What's wrong?" I asked and he stopped dead in his tracks. "Nothing Elena. Just let it go." But I didn't. He was my twin and I knew that there was something wrong and I wasn't going to let him go without telling me. God I sounded like mom. "God damn Justin just look at me." I snapped and he turned around glaring at me. Holy shit. A big bruise was prominent on his face and let me tell you, whoever punched him did a nice job. "Oh god what happened to your face?" I asked shocked and he gritted his teeth. "I got punched." He replied and I let out a laugh but quickly closed my mouth to make sure that no sound would leave again. This was certainly not the moment to laugh. "No shit Sherlock, but what happened?" I tried again and he let out a sigh before answering. "Me and Hemmings got into a little argument." He smirked and my mouth dropped why would he get into an argument with Luke. I swear he was going to get it tomorrow. "I saw him standing and thought I should try to get it through his head that he had to stay away from you." He said and my blood boiled. Too. Far. "You did what? Who do you think you are?! I'm old enough to decide who to hang out with alright! It was one thing for you to warn me and tell me to stay away from him but this? No. You just crossed the line!" I screamed and made my way back upstairs before he could reply.

"I'm sorry. I forgot our drinks. I ran into my brother and euh yeah." I said and she gave me a small smile. "I know I heard you scream. But don't worry about it, I have to go anyway. My mom just texted me. But before I go I have to ask you something." She said and I nodded, motioning her to continue. "There's this guy and yeah we used to be best friends, we still are tough but yeah. Two years ago he had a huge crush on you but you didn't have eye for anyone but Luke. He still has a crush on you and he can't stop talking about you so I was wondering if you were willing to go on a date with him. It may seem very childish that I am asking you instead of him but he doesn't know I'm doing this either so yeah he's hot, has good grades and is a total gentleman so what do you say? One date wouldn't kill you right?" She pleaded and I smirked. "We'll see... if this mysterious boy who's name I have yet to learn actually comes to me and asks me then who knows." I replied and she laughed. "Well, I'll make sure he grows some balls and comes to talk to you tomorrow. See you!" She said and I closed the door behind her.
The thought of hanging out with a guy didn't sound too appealing but who knows maybe this could be fun? I don't know but I won't find out either if I don't give it a shot. Anyway, I made my way back upstairs and sat down on my desk to do the remaining of homework I had left before dinner but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen. "Elena can I talk to you." My brother asked and I snorted. "No." He groaned is response and sat down at the edge of my bed. "Don't be so childish." He sighed and I slammed my pencil down on my desk. "Oh I'm being childish?! You are the one that got into a freaking fight because I was talking with Luke! Like what the fuck is your problem. I'm turning 18 in 5 months so I think I can make out the difference between right and wrong and what you did was wrong! I love you Justin but stay the fuck out of my life." I snapped and he glared at me but before he could say something, mom called us. "Justin! Elena! Dinner is ready!" Right after that, Justin turned his attention back to me. "Alright, I will but remember I warned you." He growled and left without giving me another look. Great. Just great.

Dinner was rather quit and my mom trying to make a conversation only made things awkward. After a while I think she noticed that neither Justin nor I felt like talking, so she quickly gave up which was something me and Justin were both happy about.

I kept getting these annoying glares from Justin and I had to resist the urge to yell at him. Not that it was working because I could feel my blood boiling and quickly asked I could be demist.

I made my way upstairs and changed into my pajamas , ready to go to bed. I didn't eve care that I still had to do some homework, I could always wake up early and do it tomorrow morning but right now I just wanted to sleep and escape from all the things that were happening in my life.
