*Demi's POV*
The next day it was Winter's birthday. She got stationery (as usual) and 7 bows, all for the days of the week. Red for Monday, Orange for Tuesday, Yellow for Wednesday and so on.
We had the best birthday cake ever. The only people who were there were my auntie (my mom was working), a few students from Shapeshifter Academy and Winter, of course.
We played games (Scrabble, Guess Who, Monopoly and Connect Four).
*Winter's POV*
I also got bracelets and rings for my birthday too. And fantasy books. I thought Shapeshifters weren't real, but they actually are. It's so cool being a shapeshifter.
*Demi's POV*
After everyone had gone, Winter and I had a race and she won. We had three more races before having a break.
We had tea and then we watched a few films. Now Winter and I were the same age. I was a few days older. We're both fourteen.
I raced out of the house and shapeshifted. It was going to be a perfect summer....
