Jordan couldn't sleep.

As he turned continously in his huge bed his mind kept replaying his conversation with kiara.

How someone as ugly as she was could look like she did now was beyond him.

Past memories of their time in high school replayed in his mind.

The image of the pimple faced troll following him around was imprinted in his mind almost painfully.

Then her attraction to him had been seen by others and even himself as disgusting.

Back then she had practically worshipped him, thinking he was some kind of hero.

At first he felt no guilt in using her, she was after all a nobody.

But as time flew by leading her on had somehow disturbed him. Especially since she relyed on him a lot and was oblivious to the fact that he was using her.

Then she had finally mustered up enough courage to ask the schools bad boy out, thinking their imaginary friendship could blossom.

Too bad that ended up being the biggest mistake of her life.

Shaking his head to remove anything left of that terrible day Jordan got out of bed and padded barefoot to his macbook.

Turning it on he went straight to Google and typed in her name.

Minutes later a bunch of information littered the page all centered on the fantastic woman Kiara seemed to have become.

As a model she rocked the fashion world with her crazy but fabulous designs and great body.

Scrolling down she was known as a big figure in the life of orphans charities and the likes.

A bit curious Jordan typed in relationships for reasons he couldn't quite place, then gave a low growl when she came out with quite a few and one recent.

After about an hour of reading, scanning through various images and stalking her on facebook Jordan immediately shut his laptop and paused to think.

If kiara decided to stop dating after he out right rejected her in high school things between them could eventually turn around.

Looking at his reflection in the huge body length mirror Jordan decided he was in fact a god when it came to looks and knowing Kiara her cold countenance will eventually thaw.

I mean who has ever said no to a walking god?

Kiara stood in front of her vanity mirror combing her delicate hair when someone gave the door a light knock.

"Come in"

The door creaked open and a smiling aunt Martha poked her hair through the door, a huge smile on her face.

"And how is my muffin doing today" she asked, her brown eyes twinkling with so love and mischief.

"Aunt Martha" Kiara squeeled throwing her brush aside and giving the older woman a big hug.

"Darling you're choking me"

Giggling Kiara let go and took a step back to take in the beautiful woman in front of her.

"I didn't think you'd be home by now"

The older woman brushed her off

"I wanted to be home earlier sweetie, how else am I supposed to have some bonding time with my little muffin"

With teary eyes Kiara pulled her into another warm hug.

Pulling back Aunt Martha looked deeply into Kiara's eyes then raised an eyebrow.

"Are you okay sweetie? "

Nodding Kiara pulled away wiping away stray tears.

Shaking her head slightly Aunt Martha gave Kiara a look.

"I haven't seen you cry in years" she shook her head, "are you sure sweetie"

"Yup" Kiara nodded quickly then picked up her clutch.

"I have to go somewhere real quick"
Hurriedly she leaned down and kissed her cheek.

Once gone Aunt Martha turned to the vanity mirror and picked up an old picture.

It was a picture of a smiling Kiara and an equally happy looking Jordan.

Sighing she put the picture into the drawer and left the room.

Lastly to all the ghost readers of this book I will really appreciate it if you could at least vote for the story rather than just reading through and abandoning the book.
