I Wish......😉

I wish I am a good daughter,

To my wonderful, awesome parents.

And I wish I do not falter,

Even if I see some terrible rodents..

I wish I am one of the best sons,

To play the fool and get caught;

For stealing cakes, cookies and buns,

Which my parents had recently bought..

I wish I am the best child,

All elders have ever seen.

I wish to be so good and not so wild.

And go to places, no one has ever been..

I wish I am an attentive student,

In the whole class and among my friends.

And I wish to never tell the words I really meant,

And later regret to try and make amends..

I wish I am really a good friend and classmate,

To everyone who loves and cares for me;

In my class, school and at the gate,

Of houses which are kept mosquito-free..

I wish I am a good poet,

who is really good in rhymes.

I don't care if it is for a ballet or duet;

I'm sure it will be as sour as limes..

I wish I am a helpful sister,

So that my siblings will love me.

And I will die to become a jester.

And not to be lazy as the queen bee.

I wish I were a funny elder brother,

And really care for my younger ones.

And make sure they don't wish for another,

Who will possibly take away their funs.

I wish I could become a marvelous cook,

And make different delicious dishes.

And to learn various tactics from books,

According to everyone's desires and wishes..

I wish I could be one of the best doctors,

And cure all diseases and illnesses.

And to be one among the victors,

Only with love, care and kindness...
