Peridot's POV
I squirm more and finally escape. "L-LAPIS I SWEAR IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" I can see the sadness and anger in her eyes. She doesn't believe me... She begins to run away and I begin to cry. I grab her shoulder. "LAPIS PLEASE BELIEVE ME! YOU KNOW ME! I-I WOULDN'T DO THI-" Lapis turns towards me and pushes me to the ground and runs away.
"N-No way... THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" I cry. I turn towards the man who kissed me. "YOU! YOU DID THIS!" I scream with pain in my voice. I run towards him and attempt to punch him, but his palm is holding my forhead, stopping my hand from reaching him. I cry harder and my dress is all dirty.
I run out of the building and try to find my way home. My vision blurry and it just started to rain. By the time I arrive at my house I'm soaking. I don't know if it's from the rain, my sweat, or my tears. I run up into my room and look in he mirror. Mascara running down my face and my dress all wet and muddy. My hair was dirty and wet. I just wanted to take a nice long warm bath and forget it all... I just want Lapis to hold me.... Believe me....
