Lapis's POV
Was what I did really that bad.... I should have let her explain to me what was going on at the party.. I shouldn't have taken it the wrong way... Should I follow her or give her her personal space? This is so confusing. This whole incident has been confusing.
I miss holding her and our little cuddling sessions. I'm going to follow her.
I wipe away my tears and run to the restroom. Hopefully she will forgive me. I run inside of the bathroom. "P-Peridot." She doesn't respond. "I know you're in here, Peri." Still no response. "I just want to say that I'm really sorry. I should have listened to what you had to say.. I-I love you..."
"Lapis I... I'm sorry too. For getting so mad.. it's just I wanted you to underst-"
"It's okay. I understand." Peridot opens up the door and hugs me tightly while tears stream down her face. "I'm so sorry.." I cry with her and kiss her head. I lift her up in my arms and kiss her on the lips and we hold the kiss for about fifteen seconds.
"I forgive you, Lapis."
"I'm so glad" I smile.
We walk back into the cafeteria with our hands intertwined and I bend down and kiss Peridot's forehead. "I love you so much."
"I love you too."
