Peridot's POV
It.. it was all a set up? Dammit how am I going to win Lapis back?! I stand frozen at my locker and cry. I try to stop myself, but I cant.. I can't stop crying... I'm so broken..
(Time skip)
I walk to the cafeteria. I don't know if I'm even apart of the gang anymore, so I just avoid the table. I sit at an empty table near the window. I take a quick glance at Lapis while she's talking with the gang. I feel all of there eyes on my back. It sends shivers down my spine. What did I even do to Jasper?
Jasper approaches me. This can't be good.
"Why were you staring at my Lapis?"
"I-Im sorry!"
"You better be!"
She pushes my head into the wall, leaving a gash mark on my forhead. Tears fill my eyes. She storms off.
Lapis's POV
Well, Peridot is back. Woo-hoo. I can't believe she's acting so innocent. What a dork. I kind of want to believe her though... What am I thinking? I see Peridot on the other side of the room.. she has a huge bleeding gash on her head. Is she okay?
I run up to her table.
"Peridot!" I shouted. She flinched by the sound of my voice. Is she scared of me? "Peri where is that gash from?"
Peridot's POV
"Oh so you're worried about this gash? What about me?!" I say in a hurt voice. Lapis looks at me with wide eyes "Even if I told you, you probably wouldn't believe that either!" She doesn't respond. She just stares at the wall and I keep my mouth shut. She finally spoke up. "Peridot, I'm sorry..."
"Y-You just ASSUMED I was cheating! Whats with you?" Tears roll down her face "L-Lovers are supposed to believe and trust in eachother.. And you just got the wrong idea! And when I tried to explain you just pushed me to the ground without giving me a chance!" I quietly sob than run to the girls bathroom.
