School

I run over to Alya, sitting on a bench absorbed in her phone.
"Alya!" I yell, hoping she hears me. My bff looks up and smiles.
"Hey girl! Guess what I just posted on the lady blog!" She gushed. She turned her phone towards me and I watch the video of Ladybug and Chat Noir saving the day. Like I haven't lived it. It was just yesterday.
" look at Chat Noir go!" A familiar angelic voice said. It was Adrien. Sweet, beautiful, Adrien! He was behind the bench looking over my shoulder.
"Y-you like Ch-Ch-Chat Noir?" I ask, staring into his deep green eyes.
"Yea, he's pretty cool, but not as cool as Ladybug," he replied, still looking at the video.
He thinks I'm cool! Well, he thinks Ladybug is cool, but Ladybug is basically me, right?
"Sweet, I-I like Chat Noir, he's really nice- I mean, not like I like him or anything- I like you!" I let out a nervous laugh. Alya slaps her palm on her forehead, and Adrien blushes.
"Thanks I guess," he says clearly confused.

"Adrikins!" Chloe's voice rang out. She runs over to the bench and hug-suffocates Adrien, then kisses him on the cheek. I felt my lunch inching up my throat. I forced it down as Chloe kept harassing Adrien.
"Hey, Chloe..." the desperation to get away was clear in his voice.
"Oh Adrihoney, I came to save you from-" she put a disgusting look on her face, "- evil Maritrash and her ugly sidekick."
"Ugly? Honey, have you looked in the mirror lately because an ogre wouldn't even like that mess." Alya shot back.
" yeah Chloe, evil? Reality Check- your the evil one here." It wasn't as good as Alya's, but it was good enough to shut Chloe up.
" I'm going to get you two, I will!" she stormed off taking Adrien with her. Adrien looked back and pleaded on more time with his eyes.
I'm So sorry, I mouthed.
When Chloe and Adrien were out of sight, we laughed.
"Good job girl!" Alya exclaimed.
"Marinette and Alya one, Chloe zero!" I cheer and we laugh again.
The bell rings and we walk into school.
Chloe gave us dirty looks the whole day, but I didn't care.
I was on cloud nine.
