Things I Can't Explain

I ran back inside and smiled brightly. That silly cat. Everyone was staring at me, the girl who ran out with Chat Noir and came back in without him. I was nervous, then Alya ran up to me, some kind of look of anger and hurt on her face.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Did you just run out with Chat Noir go on the side of the building and-"
" I swear it's not what it looks like!" I interrupted, because I did not want to hear what Alya thought we were doing.
"Then why'd you run out with him? Like you knew him personally?"
Oh crap. How am I going to get out of this one?
"Umm... we are uhhh... good friends, I guess?" Dang, I'm terrible at lying.
"Good friends call you princess?" Alya raised one eyebrow, skeptical.
I hope Alya becomes a reporter, cause' she's really good. I'm not getting out of this one.
Then Adrien bursts through the door. He runs then grabs me and pulls me out of the school and into the park. We rest at a bench. If it were anyone else, I would've punched them for doing that. But this is Adrien we're talking about. Couldn't damage him!
"Adrien, what was that for?" I asked, still breathing heavily.
"Had to get you away from persistent Alya!" Adrien responded, a smile forming on his lips.
"Thanks for the save, she wouldn't let go of me running out with-" OMG Mari! You almost freaking told your crush about running out with Chat! Shoot! Adrien's smile grew wider.
"With Chat Noir?" He finished. Holy Salsa. No no no no no. "I thought you liked me!" Adrien said and smirked, clearly having his fun with this.
"Wait wait wait. Why are you smirking? Your acting just like Chat. If I didn't know better, I'd say you're him." I smiled mischievously as Adrien's smirk dimmed.
"Well, um... don't we gotta go back too school? Uh, see ya Mari!" He ran out of the park and towards the school. I laughed hard. Adrien sure was acting funny. Like Chat. Seemingly trying to make me feel better.
But that's just one of the things I can't explain.
