I was sitting at my lunch table with Haylee and Tess and some new guy named Kyle . he was cute , he had dark brown hair , a cute smile , a nice body , and was about 5'7 .
Gosh he was a cutie
" So you came from California ? " Tess asked him
" uh yeah , " he ran his hand down his face and did a little chuckle . it was really cute .
" Yeah , my parents didn't really like it there for me . I was always in trouble . So they thought bringing me to Atlanta would be a good start " He explained .
Everyone at our table kept asking him questions and stuff . I just sat there and listened .
" So uuhh ... Carter "
I looked up at Kyle , and he was smiling at me .
" Yeah "
" well you're in my next class and I'm new .... so uh could we walk together ?" he smiled nervously
" Yeah , sure we can " I smiled back .
Just at that time the bell rung . I stood up and Kyle was right next to me .
" Ready ? "
I nodded and we started walking .
" So do you like it here so far ? " I asked
" Yeah , it's big here . a lot of opportunities , so hopefully I can stay out of trouble " he winked at me and I laughed .
" You'll do fine , just be careful who you hang with , and think about what you're decisions "
" I definitely will , thanks beautiful " he side hugged me before we walked into the gym . I started walking to The girls locker room and noticed Kyle was following me .
" Kyle .... what are you doing "
" I'm going to the locker room "
" the guys locker room is over there " I pointed to the other side of the gym .
"....oh .....well I was just -" he took of running to the guys locker room . I laughed and walked in . I changed and went out with the rest of the class . We had a substitute today , so we aren't going to do any actual ' working out ' today .
" hi class I'm Ms.Marine , and I'm you're sub today . so the teacher just told me to let you guys go out and walk the track for the class period . so let's go " .
We all stood and headed out . I was getting ready to put my music in when I heard my name being yelled .
" Carter ! Wait ! "
I turned around and saw it was Kyle . I smiled at him as he kept running towards me .
" Hey " he breathed , out of breath
" Hi "
" So is this what you do everyday in this class ? "
" No , we had a substitute today so , that's why we're doing this "
" but .... I have a different teacher than you "
" true ... but when one of the gym teachers are gone , the whole gym period does what that teacher had planned for the sub to do with its class " I explained and he nodded in response
" So you wanna race me ? " he smiled
" Nah , I'm good " I stated
" oh c'mon , it's ok if you lose " . I scoff .
