"You ain't gotta stop babe"

I woke up to the covers being torn away from me . my eyes shot open and I seen my dad.

"Get up , it's almost one " he said , I pout and whimper as I made my way to my bathroom. I brush my teeth and wash my face . I walk downstairs into the kitchen, I seen a chick-fil-a bag with a Starbucks drink next to it. I smiled really big.

" You know me well father" I say impressed he remembered.

"I may shake you off when you say things but I Remember" he taps his head . Then goes back to reading a paper.

  I eat my food happily when the doorbell rings. My dad goes to open it and I stay seated at the island . My phone dings and I read my text.

**Goodmorning Beautiful, Are you busy?" **

I smiled at his text and replied.

**It's the afternoon silly , I'm just eating breakfast "

As I waited for him to respond I continued to eat my food. My dad walked back into the kitchen followed by Haley. I smiled looking at her attire. She still had on her pajamas.

"Did you just roll out of bed to come over here?" I asked raising my eyebrows at her.

"Sort of , Guess what time I woke up?"

"uh , 10:30?"

"No..... I was woke at 8:00 this morning. Why? I don't know. But I was so mad like I'm never woke that early" she ranted on.

**if it's the afternoon why are you eating breakfast? Hmmm. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today?**

He was being a smart ass .

**Because I can if I want. I'm hanging with Haley today,you can join if you like**

"So what are we doing today hayls"

"Well , we could go shopping, out to eat , and to the movies ". I shook my head in approval.

"Wanna come along dad?" I joked

"nah sweetie , I have to work at 3:00"

" Good ,  I was joking" I giggled and. he sent me a playful glare.

"How is work going pops?" haylee asked my dad. She's always called him that . We're like her second family. You should see her when my mom is around.As they had their conversation , I was texting Kyle.He'd be over in an hour .

I throw my garbage away and wallked. into the living room. I turned on the television and watched phineas and ferb. Soon Haylee came and sat next to me.

"Kyle's Joining us today" I tell her and she nods.

"Okay sweetie , I'm heading home now. Gotta get ready for work " my dad kisses my forehead ,Then kisses haleys like she's his daughter.

"later dad" I tell him

"later pops" haleys says

"he's not your dad" I joke

" yes he is"

"whatever" I mumble

I turn off the tv, walk up to my room with Haley behind me. She flops on my bed and gets on my phone. I put my hair in a bun ,then walk to my closet.

"Is it cold out ?" I ask her as I look through my closet.

"We live in Georgia , what do you think?" .
