Nia's Point of View

"Caleb I-I don't know what to say. I definitely would wanna talk to Josie about it first." I sat back against the barstool, resting my elbows on the smooth marble counter. Finally gaining the confidence to look up into his brown eyes. He didn't look mad or agitated, "And that's perfectly okay with me. Talk it over and get back to me, I just need it to be somebody I can trust." I nodded my head in understanding.

"Well I'ma get going. I'll text and let you know what I decide." Standing up from the chair, I walked around and gave him a kiss on the cheek before letting myself out.

It took a second to realize what he was really asking of me, me of all people. I had to go home and truly think about this. Anyway, I stopped and grabbed some food on the way home. I'm pretty sure he was only offering me this so he wouldn't have to see me as Chyna no more. But shit, Chyna paid the bills.

I flipped through the channels as I hate my tacos and chips wit salsa. The phone rang, it was Josie.

"Hey babe, what you doin?" She asked as soon as I answered, nosy butt. I washed it all done with some pop before answering her. "Nothin much bae, eatin some tacos and watchin Scandal." She sighed hard on the other end.

"You ain't get me no tacos bae? Dang, a nigga hurt." We laughed together cause her fat ass really was hurt. "Aww, come over tomorrow and I'll cook for you, big crybaby." I told her in return. Being that she was part Puerto Rican she loved Hispanic food the most. Maybe once I had her over for dinner I could tell her about Caleb's offer..
