Chapter 4: "Hi"

Your POV
"Y/N wake up!" I heard as I was being violently shook.
"W-what? Are we here?!"I say opening my eyes and taking off my headphones.I must have fallen asleep at one point."No,there's still an hour left but I thought you might want to vlog for a bit" Sem said smiling.

"That's a great idea!Thanks"I say whilst reaching down and delving into my bag and pulling out my camera. "Erm...aren't you gonna...clean yourself up a bit?" Sem questioned.I look at the camera realising that I dont look,well,I look horrific. "Another great idea"I reply and reach down into my bag once more. After a little rummaging,I finally find my makeup bag.I do a quick touch up and sort out my hair,before getting my camera out and pressing record...

"Hey guys,and welcome back to my channel.Right now me and Sem are on the plane and will be arriving in LA really soon.I can't wait!! I'll try to vlog lots over the next few days."
I carry on talking to the camera and Sem about what we'll be doing when we get there and some other random stuff.

~time skip~
Ping!The seat belt icon glows up and the pilot speaks "We will be landing in Los Angeles shortly so please wear your seatbelt and stay seated" As I finished fastening myself in I look towards Sem,she was being eerily quiet.
"What's wrong?" I say puzzled at why she seemed so...sad.
"DO YOU THINK DEVYN KNOWS ANY CUTE GUYS?!" She blurts.I burst out laughing hysterically.She looks even more depressed as I turn to her,my vision blurry because I was almost in tears. "What?! That's not like you" I state suffocating my giggles.

"Yeah,I know but,after seeing how happy Holly I with Ryan,I-I want something like that" she beams.
Holly and Ryan had been together since they were sixteen, so I get where she's coming from,but after what happened with Nick I don't think I trust guys anymore."Sem,you'll find that one day,maybe sometime soon.You never know."I force a smile and try to shake the memories of Nick from my head.She hugs me,showing her gratitude.
We pull away "Thanks Y/N,what would I do without you?"
I shrug pulling a weird face causing her to snort a little.

~time skip~

As we get up I decide to vlog some
more." We have arrived here in LA!!" "Woop Woop!!" "It's the sound of da police"
"You are such a weirdo Y/N!"Sem spits,rolling her eyes at the same time.
"Normal is BORING!" I shout a little too loudly,as we walk down the narrow corridor.

This is so embarrassing!Why did I do that?!

As we reach the end of the tunnel I hear someone squeal "Sem,Y/N you're here!!"
I scan the crowd until I spot Devyn's head bobbing up and down.

Devyn's POV
"Come on,we'll miss them!" I moan, dragging Corey through the busy airport. "Devyn we can't miss them,we're nearly thirty minutes early.The plane hasn't even arrived yet!" Colby sasses. "Sooo...at least we'll be here when they get off the plane." I turn and see him roll his eyes and cross his arms.
"Babe, maybe we should find somewhere to sit for a bit" Corey says and grabs ahold of my hand."Ok" I follow Sam,Colby and Corey to a small seating area.
Kat shuffles along behind me,obviously she's excited to meet Sem and Y/n.
We sit and talk for a good 20 minutes before Kat shouts "Their plane is landing."

I shoot up and me and Kat start sprinting towards their gate."Hey,wait up!" I hear Sam yell.

"Sem,Y/N you're here!" I scream excitedly,jumping up and down.

Your POV
Before I know it,I'm being squashed by Devyn's hug. "Hello to you too" I laugh. She pulls away and attacks Sem.
"You have no idea how happy I am right now!" She exclaims. Someone clears their throat and Deyvn turns around." Oooh yeah.This is my boyfriend Corey."She points to a dark eyed guy with a man bun."Hi" he says grinning. Both me and Sem smile."Hey" I reply. "This is Kat." Devyn pulls a pretty brunette next to her " Hi,it's so nice meeting you guys." I keep the smile plastered on my face trying to hide my anxiety "You too" I tell her.
"And this is Sam..." Her voice trails off but she quickly grins again. "Hey" I say,he gives a small wave to both of us.
Devyn looks confused as she searches the huddled crowd. "Where's Colby?"

Sam looks to the left and glares at this quite good-looking,blue eyed stranger who is drinking some Starbucks and holding a bag of Doritos. "What?" The guy scoffs. " I was thirsty"he shrugs.
You let out a small giggle and look away for a second,but when you turn back you see him blush slightly.
"That's Colby" Devyn explains and rolls her eyes again. "Oh, you must be Y/N and Sem" Colby says. "Yep that's us" Sem grins.
"Hi" I reply.
They show is to their cars and as I'm putting my cases in the trunk Someone pats me on the shoulder.

"Need any help?" They say and I turn to see Colby. "Oh,I've finished now but thanks anyway"
"Ok, next time?" He asks looking straight at me.
"Err... Sure" I stifle a laugh and start closing the trunk.He shuffles away to the second car.

"Y/N you and Sem are staying at ours tonight" Devyn orders as I pull the seatbelt over my shoulder. " Ok" I say not really caring about where we were sleeping.I was just happy that I'd be able to chill out for a bit,all this socialising is wearing me out!
