Chapter 8: Starbucks

A/N First of all, THANK YOU for 300+ reads!!!! And sorry I haven't updated in a few days a lot has been going on and I've been too depressed to do anything. But I hope you like this chapter!

Your POV
I take my camera because I need to do more vlogging.

"Y/N! Hi!" Liza shouts out of her car window. "Hey!" I say back opening the door and climbing into the ve-hi-cle (I'm sorry) I quickly shut the door and pulled my seatbelt into place.
"So where are we going?" I ask.
"I thought that we could to the cinema. The new Spider-Man is meant to be Amazing!" She replies excitedly, reaching out and turning on the radio. Despacito plays loudly and the both of us scream the lyrics, or at least something close to what the lyrics actually are.

~time skip be its 1am and I needed food~

We arrived at the Cinema after 25 minutes of 'angelic' singing. I undo my seatbelt and grab my bag.Liza runs over to the board that has all the times that the films are shown at," It's not on for another hour" she moans shuffling back over to me. I scan the area for something to do. " we can always go to Starbucks?" I smile goofily at her making her roll her eyes but laugh aswell.

I yank out my camera and start to vlog; " Hey guys! It its me y/y/n and I'm here with the one and only Liza Koshy!" I exclaim. "Yeah and we're being basic and going to Starbucks!" We laugh but continue on towards and across the street.I jerk open the door,"Malady" I put my poshest accent on and bow."Oh why thank you,kind sir!" Liza plays along.We are so weird.
I follow her up to the queue and we stand inline chatting.She tells me all about a date that David took her on."So... Seen any cute guys?" She wiggles one of her eyebrows at me. "What?!" I'd only been in LA for just over a day. She glares at me.
"I guess I'm not really ready to be dating again."She looks at me sympathetically and puts her hand on my shoulder. "Y/N, Nick isn't going to find you here. Starting something different (wdw❤️) will make you forget all about that Jerk"
I go to say something but am interrupted by the barrister."Next!"
We go up to the counter and order our drinks. " I'll have a (favourite drink), please." I say and the guy winks at me. Eww! He looks like a foot! I think to myself.

Liza runs over to the table in the corner,it's pretty busy here so I'm glad we got a table before all the seats were taken. "Y/N" someone shouts over the noise. I jump a little and quickly push through the crowd and grab my (drink). When I get back to our table,Liza already had her drink, I get out my camera and vlog for a few minutes but stop when I hear a familiar voice from behind me.

"Hey Y/N!" Colby says grinning.

Colby's POV
Ring!
My phone goes off as I'm editing Tuesday's Vlog. I pick it up and see Brennen's calling.I press the green button and hear him say "Hey Colby! I'm gonnacome and see and we are gonna do something epic!" He exclaims.
"Er... Okay. What do you have in mind?" I ask.
"We are pranking the whole house!"

"By doing what?"

" By showing them that Brolby is real!"
" How?"
"I'll tell you when I get there."
"Alright, bye then."
"Bye" he hangs up.

I guess we're gonna prank everyone.

~time skip bc I can~
Brennen tell me everything and we start getting prepared. No one is in at the moment so we have like an hour at least to get everything sorted. Brennen and I go to target and get rose petals, candles and a few other things.
Once we get back, we start to set the mood. I sprinkle a path of rise petals going from the front door and up to my bedroom. Brennen lights candles and finds some gooey love songs to put on quietly. Five minutes after we finish I hear the front door open. We quickly take our shirts off and lay down on my bed.
"What the hell?" I hear Corey shout from downstairs. I can hear them talking and their voices getting louder as they approach my room.
"Does Colby have a girlfriend?" Elton asks. "No, he would have told me." Sam says.

Creak! The door swings open.
"Oh my god!!!" They all start pulling strange faces and shouting things like. " why the actual hell?" And "how long has this been going on?"

"You're home early" I say playing along and pulling the covers over my chest.
"Wait so this is real!" Sam looks so puzzled.
"Yeah, obviously" I reply,
They all look gobsmacked.
"A REAL GOOD PRANK!" Brennen yells. I laugh at all of their faces.
"We got you so good man!" I chuckle getting up from my bed.

~skippity skip skip skip~

We clean up the rose petals and I suggest we go to Starbucks. Brennen agrees and we set off.
"You've been acting a little off today" Brennen says as we walk into Starbucks.
"This morning, something went on between this girl Y/N and I'm guessing her ex."
"Wait! Do you like, like like this Y/N girl?" He smirks. "What?! N-no it was just awkward" I state.
He thinks for a few seconds and then his eyes widen.
"Y/N, like y/y/n?" He says excited.
"Yeah.." I reply, I rush up to the counter to escape the conversation.
We get our drinks and look for somewhere to sit, but there was barely any space as it was.
"Oh my god!" Brennen gasps.
"What?!" I ask.
"Isn't that Y/N and Liza right there?!" He smiles and starts walking over to their table. I hurry to him and when we reach the table he elbows my side.

I smile " Hey Y/N!" I say from behind her.

Brennen can be so annoying! I keep smiling." Hi" she says. Hopefully we can just forget about that whole thing earlier.We had only just met so it was really weird. I think but snap back into reality when I hear Brennens voice.

Your POV
I hear Colby's voice "Hey Y/N!"I turn around.He's with another guy with dark hair and a bright smile. "Hi" I say awkwardly, memories of what happened the earlier flood my mind. For gods sake!

"Ohh, so you're Y/N" The guy says smirking at Colby, causing his face to flush hot pink. "I'm Brennen by the way." He turning back to me and Liza. " Hey do you guys wanna join us?" She nudges me subtly.

"Yeah thanks!" Brennen replies taking a seat across from Liza.Colby shuffles in next to him,still blushing.
Liza kicks me under the table encouraging me to speak. I wince but decide to obey her. "So... What have you been up to?" I look over to them smiling slightly,holding back how much my leg hurts.They both glance at each other quickly before bursting out laughing.
"We pranked my roommates." Colby says finally." Yeah it was hilarious" Brennen sputters.
"What prank did you do?" Liza says,obviously as confused as me.

"We made them think that we were gay together. You should of seen the looks on their faces." Colby laughs. His laugh is so cute! What?! No it isn't. It's a normal laugh not amazing at all. I cringe at my thoughts.
We talk for ages and me and Liza completely forget about going to the cinemas.

~time skip to end of the day~

Today went well! I close my eyes and fall asleep reminiscing on the day that was coming to an end.
