Chapter 20;

Y/Ns POV
My eyes followed the words, I squint taking in the information.

Meet me at the Hollywood sign at 9pm
- a secret admirer <3

I recognised the hand writing, I knew it was Colby who had written this.

I check the time on my phone:8:03pm. Great I have less than an hour and it takes 30minutes to drive there. I practically sprint to my closet throwing clothes everywhere, it doesn't matter what I choose anyway, so I put on some black jeans and a stranger things t-shirt. Running down stairs, I grab my phone and throw on my doc martens, hurriedly getting my keys and going out the door.

I hop into my car and drive straight to the Hollywood sign.

I arrive there, 8:58pm. Atleast I'm not late, for once. I breathe in. And out.

It's almost silent except for the faint noises of the traffic in the distance. In front of me on the lays a black rose,I pick it up before feeling a hand on my shoulder. Colby stands there anxious but hiding it with his adorable smile. "Hi" he says softly
"Hey"I whisper.
"I'm so so so sorry about everything I do-"
"it's fine"
"what really?!"
I nod my head and smile. "Well then can I ask you a question?"
"You just did." I joke, he roll his eyes playfully," okay what is your question?" "Would you like to go out for dinner?" I think about it. "There's going to be lots of food right?" "All the food you could ask for"
"Then it's a date"
He places his hand in mine a pulls me towards a candlelight picnic. "I wanted to make it up to you"
I blushed a pink so bright Donald Trumps tan couldn't compete,"Colbs you didn't have to"
"I wanted to"

We sit down on the soft blanket and Colby delves into a weaved basket and pulls out some champagne and two glasses."Mlady," he says,pouring me a glass.

Colbys POV
"Cheers" she says clinking her glass with mine. After all this time I finally have a chance!

We spend the evening snuggled together watching the sky and discussing random things, going from the new season of stranger things to Oreos. This is all I could ever want,here with Y/N, there is nothing id rather be doing. I think I'm falling for her.

Y/Ns POV
I giggle at Colby as he attempts to do an impression of Dustin purring.
This was perfect,all I ever wanted. I think I might just be falling in love with this guy.
Hopefully I don't fall on my face in front of him because that would be soooooo embarrassing, What if I have food on my face. Oh lord!!!!
