"I mean, I know enough." Pete said, simply, "I've learned a lot these past three weeks, you said it yourself"

"A lot? Yes." Ryan nodded in agreement, and Pete smiled, though the first mentioned wasn't finished, "Enough, however? No." He added and the latter frowned.

"Okay, so when I do learn enough are we actually going to try to find William?" The elder of the two asked and the younger sighed.

Looking even more annoyed.

"This group has been searching for William for three years. I don't think it's really so easy as 'hey, sorry to come in unannounced but- stake to the head Will is dead. It's not that fucking easy." Ryan snapped and Pete looked nonchalant, "Yeah, if it was then we wouldn't be in this predicament in the first place, would we?"

"What are you trying to say?" Ryan urged him and Pete shrugged, "What I'm trying to say is that you guys obviously aren't trying hard enough to find William"

"And you are?!" the hunter exclaimed, in a sarcastic tone.

The vampire, though, didn't pick up on that tone.

Or maybe he did and he just decided not to acknowledge it and continued, "Yeah, I have actually-"

Ryan, however, wasn't going to take any of that bullshit, "All you've done is help some and complain about how we're such terrible people. Sorry, I forgot that everything we do is wrong and everything you do is right"

"I mean, I'm just saying if someone stayed here then we would not have lost Gabe and you would have found William five weeks ago." Pete shrugged, knowing he was getting under the hunter's skin.

Though he knew he probably shouldn't be because of all of the hunters, Ryan was the nicest to him, and he's just trying to help.

Though Pete is too, he's just trying to edge him, and the rest of the guys on, so they can work quickly to kill Bill.

"Oh right. So it's our fault?" Ryan said, in a once again mocking tone, though it was just that part, since from then on his tone sounded serious.

"I'm sorry about Gabe," he said, "I really am, but you're not the only one who lost his best friend to those blood sucking fuckers."

Though after realizing what he said, he was quiet.

"Wait, what?" Pete asked, genuinely confused and intrigued to hear more.

"Nothing" Ryan shrugged, sitting up from the couch.

Pete looked at him, questioningly, "You can't just say that and not tell me"

"I don't want to talk about it" Ryan sighed, genuinely not in the mood, until the vampire caught his attention with, "I swear I'll stop acting like a little bitch if you do"

Which Ryan gave a half-assed laugh to and said, "how can I say no to that?"
