It crept up to Clover, saliva dripping from its black hole of a mouth. It was massive, and pure evil, growling and making noises she couldn't begin to decipher. It was horrible, it must have been the devil.

It was always in her dreams, every second of the day. Nothing scared her more. This was it, the final battle between her and her fears. This was the reason she even was afraid. Jack stood beside her, preparing for death as well. It's long, fat legs bent down like a cat's, but were stumpy and low to the ground. It's body was slender and brown, wet and slimy. It smelled like what Clover was about to be in two minutes, a dead body.

It's eyes were pits of black, not that cute black she would see when she looked at raggedy old teddy bears, a horrid black of hell. She was in hell now, and there was no going back. She had made it so far, only to be finished by the beast she knew was there from the beginning.

It growled once more, inching closer and closer, showing it's rotting teeth, until it didn't. A spear of some sort flew from the middle of nowhere and the beast that was going to kill Clover fell to the floor.

"Suppose I came just in time." A voice spoke from the shadows.

Clover put her head in her hands and cried her heart out. She wasn't sure if she was scared still, or so thankful she was crying, but it didn't matter, she wasn't dead.

A women and a man stepped out of the dense forest around Clover and Jack. They were tall, muscular, clean and most importantly, there to save Clover and Jack. Clover calmed down after a while of sniffling, took a deep breath and turned to properly face the saviors.

"I'm guessing Stig sent you here." Clover stated, scratching the back of her head.

The man laughed, ruffling his brown shaggy hair, that was much to familiar for Clover to handle."Clover and Jack, look at you guys, made a brave escape huh?" His brown eyes crinkled as he smiled, showing his pearly whites.

"I'm still not over the fact that Amara is real." The lady laughed. Her straight brown hair was tied in a messy ponytail, and her blue eyes sparkled.

They were both dressed in tight fitting white tops, showing their buff frames. The male had cargo pants of some sort on. The female wore black leggings with a golden ribbon painted onto the thick fabric, circling her legs.

"Uh, yes, that's us." Clover almost-smiled, trying to up her spirits a bit while trying to look away from the dead demon at her feet. "Don't mind Jack, he doesn't talk... much. Not to people he doesn't know anyway."

Jack waved a small hello to the two and redirected his head to his twiddling thumbs.

"I'm Greg and this is Misty, and we know you know we know exactly who you are." The man spoke, his voice deep and foreign.

"Now let's get out of here, we have a flier waiting to get us out of here, it's sending us to the Calapa Fields. It's home stretch from there." Misty headed off into the forest. Clover and Jack hesitantly stepped behind her, followed by Greg.

"Where exactly is our final destination?" Clover questioned, unsure of what to make of the situation. She knew Stig was sending somebody, but never had she thought that it would be so soon.

"Mabloy Valley, a small town, on a nice little lake. Great for refugees, everybody is welcome there." Misty answered, smiling once more.

"Is that were you are from?" Jack quietly asked.

"No, of course not, we come from The Base." Greg crossed his arms.

"That sounds a little intimidating." Clover nervously chuckled.

"Exactly."
