Chapter 17

TWO YEARS LATER

"Finally, home"I sighed, breathing in the warn firmilar air of Sydney. I pulled my phone out, waiting on my older brother, when there was a tap on my shoulder. 
"Hey, sory to bother you, but do you know when the flight from New York gets off?"I heard a very firmilar voice ask me, I turned around and saw Ashton. 
"Ah! Ash!"I hugged him, breathing in his scent. How I missed my brother.
"Addie? I thought that you were a total stranger!"He gasped hugging me back after a moment.
"Nope, and didn't mom and dad teach you not to talk to strangers?"I joked, pulling away from him. 
"What is with your hair?"Ashton said, pulling at my now black locks of hair. 
"I uh, died it. Do you like it?"I asked, curious. Ashton struggled for words, as I took off the wig, revealing my brown locks of hair. "That's what I thought"I set my hands on my hips, as we started towards luggage claim. I found my bags easily, pulling them along with me as we headed to Ashton's car. 

Seeing a different car, I looked at Ashton who smirked, opening the trunk and setting my bags inside, slamming the trunk shut. Ashton quickly opened the passenger door for me, and I stepped into the car. 
"Finally! Mate, we were begining to worry"I heard Calum strong accent behind me. 
"Oh, shut up will you, she took forever"Ashton said getting into the drivers side. 
"Whoever she is she is lucky that neither one of us took that seat"I heard Michael say. 
"She is very lucky, cause really I knew one of you was bound to"Ashton said, signalling me not to talk until we got home.

Ashton still lived in the same house that I left two years ago. You see, I left Julliard, because I wanted to come home, they understood, and said that they'd take me back if I wanted to come back. So here I was back in Sydney, Austrailia. With the as far as I am aware three boys got out, I opened my door, and got out, then being engulfed in a hug. I laughed, seeing Calum hugging me on one side, Michael on the other. Hugging them back I could see Michael's hair now being black and red. Calum with I think was another tattoo. It was cute. 
"I missed you both! So very much!"I spoke out, hugging them individually. 
"We missed you too! We've been wondering when you'd make an appearence, all your stuff came in three weeks ago"Calum said, I sighed. 
"I didn't have the money to fly out yet but I did for my stuff, so I stayed in a friends house, collecting money from a job and yeah."I explain poorly., but the boys got it. 
"Oh nice hair by the way, it's just like a dark brown now"Michael pointed out, I smiled.
"I made Ashton think it was black, and he just looked horrified as I took off the wig"I laughed, as we neared the firmiliar house of mine, well Ash's. Stepping inside the house, I smelt something off. I smelt Luke's colone. Dammit. "Same room?"
"No one else's room, all yours forever little sis"Ashton ruffled my hair, I screamed softly, fixing it before running up and hearing sniffling from my room. I opened the door slowly, knowing that would make the creak not there.
"Why did you leave me?! I loved you with all my heart, Addison Felicity Irwin"Luke was saying to a picture of him and I, I caught the lettering on the bottom and almost gasped. Laddison Forever babes. That was our one month aniversary picture that he gave me. With my silient footsteps, I walked behind Luke and took the picture right from his hands, looking it over. 
"I knew I was missing something when I left. This. But I left it here for you to find it"I spoke, setting the picture down, leaning on my desk. Luke looked like he'd seen a ghost. "Luke? Are you okay?"I asked, waving a hand over his face. Luke caught my hand, by my wrist and smiled, pulling me into an unexpected hug.
"I missed you, Addison"
"Everyone calls me Adds now"I said, "But that's back in New York"I sighed, knowing I would always be Addie here.
"Well, I'm calling the girl I fell in love with, Addison, because she ripped my heart out and stomped on it"Luke spat the words of vemon at me.
"Luke, I-"
"Addie, there's nothing you can say. I have moved on"He spoke, smiling like an idiot, as he thought of this new girl. My blood actually started to boil. I was still in love with him. 
"Oh, uhm, that's great"I said, smiling at him, Luke's smile became a smirk as he left my room without a word. I shut the door, sliding down the door, before popping back up. I needed to know if this was true. I sprinted down the stairs seeing Ashton eating oreos in the kitchen, I took one, biting into it. "Hey, Ash. Does Luke have  a new girlfriend?"I asked, Ashton's jade eyes grew wide. 
"Uh, yeah. She's a real bitch"He lied, I could see right through him, the way he fiddled with the oreo before eating it gave that away.
"He doesn't, does he?"I asked, Ashton nodded, "He's still single?"Ash nodded once again, I smiled, biting my bottom lip.
"I see what's going on here. You still love him!"Ashton cheered.
"He kept talking to the picture he gave me for our one month aniversary"I said, Ashton stopped cheering.
"He does that often, ya know. He really does miss you"Ashton said.
"Hey, does he live in the same house?"I asked, Ashton shook his head.
"No, he lives around the corner now. You can go there if you want to."Ashton smirked, "But he'll be back over for band practice tonight."
"I heard you guys are going on tour with One Direction again."I smiled, seeing Ashton's face light up.
"Yeah, it's going to be epic"He said, eating more oreos.
"Does Riley still live here in Sydney?"Ashton nodded, smirking.
"She lives with Calum now, in his house. You know where that's at"He said, I smiled, and nodded. 
"I'm going to go visit her, right now"I said, heading toward the door.
"Be back before cerfew!"
"Don't worry! I'll be fine"I said, heading out the door, to bee my best friend who I've been neglecting. 

Knocking on the door, I stood on Calum's porch, so very lucky I knew this place. Calum opened the door, and let me in. 
"She's upstairs in my room, seeing as we live with my mom and dad"He chuckled. I giggled quietly. Opening the door, I saw Riley laying on the bed, face looking up. I ran over and jumped on her. 
"Hey butt face!"I called, giggling as she screamed, "Shut up! It's only me!"I pulled away from her, sitting next to her on the bed. Riley look a minute to process that I was back before attacking me in a huge hug. 
"Where have you been, you dick!"She laughed, as we sat on the bed.
"New York, Julliard"
"But your, seventeen?"She asked, I nodded.
"Ashton homeschooled me the rest of the way through highschool. I sent an application to Julliard and got a full blown scholarship! It was exciting, and the boys there were actually really hot"I smiled, thinking of the boys I had roomed with. "Two of my three roommates were guys, and one liked me, it was so awkward!"I laughed.
"Oh my god! That must have been so weird! So was New York loud?"
"Oh my fucking god, yeah! It was the loudest place I've ever been to, and I went to London"I said, giggling. "You had to be interesting to get noticed to get a cab!" I laughed remembering that I once had to shout out, that I had a million dollars for a cab. Of course the cab driver wasn't too happy that I didn't have the money, but I gave him a fifty dollar tip, that he was happy about.
"We should get going girls, Ashton wants me at his house before seven and it's six fifty-seven"Cal said, I groaned, getting up.
