I was in for a shock when I got there. I knocked, but when nobody answered, I just walked in. Usually my mom would come running to the door, or Paul would be reviewing some of his students homework on the couch. But the apartment was eerily silent. The fridge wasn't buzzing. The washer and dryer weren't spinning. The dishwasher was silent. The tv was off. I found it creepy, as anyone would.
"Mom?" I called out, no answer. "Paul?" no answer again.
I closed the door behind me and found a note. It was my mom's writing.
"Dear Percy," it read. "I hope you had a good time at camp." Nope, not at all. "I really wish I didn't have to do this, but Paul and I have decided to move to Alaska to raise our unborn child. I really wish I could've told you this in person, but I think it's best for you and your sister that we don't see each other anymore. I still love you lots! It brakes my heart to this, but it's for the greater good.
Lots and lots and lots of love and kisses, Mom and Paul"
It took me a while to read because of my dyslexia, but it broke my heart that my own mother didn't even want me! I took in a shuddering breath and sighed. They obviously don't appreciate me. They don't care about me. They used me. Took me for granted. And when they didn't need me anymore, through me out like I was nothing.
While lost in my thoughts I thought I heard a voice saying something like "He's finally powerful enough to come home!" But I'm pretty sure I didn't.
I decided to sleep before heading out again, and walked over to the cough and flopping onto it. Then, I fell into a deep sleep.
~Dream~
I was standing in a throne room. It was big, golden, bright and had a familiar feeling. At one end stood eight huge thrones. Two of them were bigger than the rest and I assumed that's where the King and Queen sat. On the King's throne sat a man with black hair, purple-blue eyes with flecks of silver and gold, he wore a dark blue cape and what looked like armour underneath.
Soon a wolf came into the room. Well more like flew. The wolf was big and black with two massive black wings and bold green eyes. The wolf bowed in front of the man and spoke.
"Chaos, I have amazing news!" the wolf exclaimed. "I believe that Sigma is powerful enough to come back."
The man, Chaos, looked at the wolf skeptically before he grinned.
"Wonderful!" Chaos boomed. "Great job Infernum! I shall set off in the morning to retrieve my son and bring him to his rightful glory. The army will be ecstatic when they see him again."
Before anything else could happen, my dream was over and I was back in my apartment on the floor. Wait...didn't I fall asleep on the couch? But that's not the point. What was that dream all about? Surly that was just a dream, right? Right!
Anyways, when I finally got up from the floor, I went to my bathroom to take a shower before changing clothes and grabbing some stale crackers for breakfast. I left the apartment and started walking along, every so often changing course, not at all caring where I ended up.
As I walked past a particular alleyway, I felt drawn to it. I know it's stupid to go into a dark alleyway with no way to get out if someone came in behind me to murder me, but due to curiosity, I just had to. When I stepped into the alleyway all I saw was darkness, then a portal opened. It swirled with multiple different colours, blues and greens, reds and oranges, and even some colours I couldn't name. Suddenly a man stepped out. It was the same man from my dreams, beside him was the winged wolf looking extremely excited.
"Um, hi?" I greeted and waved awkwardly.
"Hello Percy!" Chaos boomed, I looked around to see if anyone heard, but it seemed like the mortals were oblivious to our conversation. Typical. "Don't worry, they can't see us. Anyways, I am here to bring you back home and give you back your powers Sigma."
"Who's Sigma?"
"You are! You're my son! But eighteen years ago you used almost all of your energy to save your friends. The only way to save you was to erase your memory and send you here as a son of Poseidon so you could heal. Now that you're all healed, you can come home." Chaos explained.
"Okay, and how do I know if you're telling the truth."
"Right, I still have to do that." He reached forwards and put his hand on my forehead. A warm feeling spread throughout my body. Then a pain stabbing my back as something ripped through my skin. I screamed and the wolf trotted over and spoke.
"Don't worry Sigma, soon this will be over and our bond will be repaired. Then we can go see all your friends." He said in a calm voice. I couldn't help but nod. Soon darkness overtook me and I was reliving memories.

When I woke up, I was in a humongous room. It was about the size of my old apartment. I recognized it as my room. It had light blue walls, a king sized bed with a galaxy patterned cover and pillows. It had a glass doorway leading to a balcony that overlooks a majority of the south side of our planet (Parádeisos). On the walls there were pictures of the elite team and I, some of my family too. I had a walk in closet and desk on the same wall as my bed. There was a door marked 'training arena' for my personal training. Another door said 'hang out' which leads to the elite team's hangout room (complete with a kitchen, training arena, game/movie room, forge and bathroom). I looked in the mirror and noticed that I had dark black wings. I was also more muscular, had darker and more messy hair, and my eyes had silver and gold flecks in them.
I was still examining how my room looked pretty much the same when Infernum walked in. Remember the wolf from earlier? Yeah, that's Infernum, guardian of the Void Fire and my partner and equal. He can set himself on fire and can shape-shift into other animals, but he prefers to stay how he normally looks (as a big black wolf with wings and green eyes).
"Hello Sigma. How are you feeling? Do you remember everything? Do you? I hope you do! I don't want you to forget me again!" Infernum rambled.
I laughed. "'Course I remember. You don't have to worry!" I smiled, Infernum gave me a wolffish grin.
"Do you remember how to hid your wings?" He asked, I nodded and concentrated on my wings disappearing. Once I felt them disappear, I opened my eyes and followed Infernum.
We went through multiple hallways, we were heading to the stage for my reveal (as Infernum informed me).
This was going to be interesting.

A/N
Hey guys. So this chapter is a bit longer then the previous one. I personally like the rewritten version better so far, what do you think?Anyways, I introduced Infernum way earlier because I feel like this goes better with the plot and also works better with what happens in the second book (yes, there will eventually be a sequel).
Well, I feel like that's all for now. But before I go, I'm going to Las Vegas for two weeks so I might not update or I'll update a lot, depends on how I spend my free time.
