Chapter Six ~ Nico beats a guy up

Sigma's POV~
*afternoon the next day*

The Elite team (Infernum was sleeping) and I were wandering around, minding our own business. We were supposed to start training today, but they kept complaining saying things like "but it's such short notice" and "let's start tomorrow". So Chiron took pity on them and now we're starting training tomorrow. Oh well, it's there fault if they get killed.

Soon the girls announced that they were going to go do their own thing and left to do whatever girls do. So now it was just us guys.

"Um, excuse me." a meek voice spoke up, I turned around to see a boy about thirteen fidgeting with his hands. "I-I just wanted to ask if um if um," he stuttered, "n-never mind it was-it was a stupid question anyways." he sighed dejectedly and turned to leave.

"Wait a second kid," I placed a hand on his shoulder, "there's no such thing as a stupid question." I told him comfortingly. "Unless it comes from Annabeth and Riley." I muttered under my breath. Apparently I wasn't as quite as I thought since the kid laughed.

"Yeah, I don't really like them. Ever since Percy Jackson left, Riley has declared himself 'King of Camp'. Only a couple people like him, mostly his goons and campers who want to be more popular and hold more power, Annabeth isn't much better." the kid told us.

"So, what was your question." Luke asked.

"Well, I wanted to ask you if you maybe knew where Percy Jackson is?" he asked.

"Sorry kid, he died." Ethan replied bluntly.

"Oh, okay. I guess I'll be going." the kid mumbled.

"Wait, before you go, what's your name?" I asked.

"It's Jax sir, Jax Koleman." he replied.

"Cool name kid." Nico said, Jax looked up startled, I'm guessing he didn't notice Nico.

"Oh, thanks." Jax's eyes flicked down to Nico and Will's hands. They were holding hands, I hadn't noticed it till now, but it's really normal so I guess my brain doesn't see it as something important to notice or something.

"Are-are you two dating?" Jax asked.

"Yes they are, so you have a problem with that?" Charles asked, getting defensive over his friends.

"N-no! I was just asking. Is it normal where you come from? To date the same gender, I mean."

"Well yeah, lotta people where we come from are lgbtq+. I mean, after living a couple hundred years, you kinda start to not care who you date. Control Freak (Zoë) is aromatic. Sigma, Shakespeare and I are bisexual. Grim Reaper (Nico) is gay. So yeah." Luke shrugged.

"That is so cool!" Jax gushed. "I'm gay, but Riley found out and now he bullies me, he says people like me should-should rot in T-Tartarus."

"I'm sorry what?" Nico asked, "I thought you said he bullies you."

Jax just nodded meekly. Nico looked super mad. Of course I was too, but I'm slightly better at keeping in my anger. Will and I decided to hold onto Nico's arms just in case.

"He-he also tried to get one of the girl Aphrodite campers to seduce me, it was extremely uncomfortable and she managed to kiss me on the lips before I pushed her off and left. He does that with all the homosexual campers." Jax explained. Nico started struggling really hard and we could all hear the death threats he was mumbling under his breath.

I looked up to see Riley swaggering over to us, the same Riley that ruined my life and apparently became 'the King of Camp', the same Riley that showed us around yesterday and looks like couldn't hurt a fly even if he tried.

"You mean that Riley?" Luke asked pointing to Riley swaggering over to us.

"Y-yeah." Jax muttered and looked like he was going to faint in fright.

Will and I simultaneously let go of Nico will both saying "oops.".

We waited until Riley was thoroughly beaten up before getting a pissed off Nico off him. Of course he was immediately sent to the infirmary.

The guys and I decided to stay inside the rest of the day and just cook supper for ourselves. Riley did have that coming and I don't feel sorry at all.

So here's this update. Sorry it took so long to update. I know not a lot of people read this so I'm hopefully not upsetting to many people. Also, I kinda like Jax so I'll probably add him in some more. If your wondering what he looks like he has green eyes and short brown hair, he's a son of Hermes.

Anyways, Happy Halloween if I don't update soon. I'll try my hardest I just kinda hit writers block for this chapter, but I think I have a good idea of what's coming up next so hopefully another chapter coming soon!
