Karly POV

After a long, well deserved, nap, I headed upstairs to talk to Ginny. We hadn't had a chance to really talk since the summer. Plus I needed her help with an outfit.
"Ginny?" I said, knocking on her door.
The redhead, who I shared a room with for most of my life, opened the door and smiled, "Hey Karly, what's up?"
I love Ginny so much, she's the sister I never had. I've never had a problem talking to her about... well anything. She was one of the only people I told about my nightmares, and she told me about hers. Before things got extremely complicated, we told each other everything. Lately that hasn't been happening since I barely get a chance to see her anymore.
"Can you help me with something?"
"Of course! Anything. What is it?"
Deciding it would be better to get to the point now, explain later, I said, "I need help getting ready for a date."

"Takes him two years to ask you out on a date, yet he has no problem kissing you at literally every opportunity," I heard Ginny mutter as she rummaged through my closet, one explanation and squeal session later.
"Yeah well it's not like we've actually had a chance to go out on a date yet. Somethings always happening, and for a year I couldn't remember anything and thought I was single so I was dating someone else."
Ginny laughed as she kept looking through my closet, "Wait if you dated someone else, why do you need my help?"
She had a good point. But honestly the points I came up with were alright too.
"Well then it was a different guy, our first date was a movie so there was no point in looking all fancy or anything, and it wasn't even real."
Ginny shrugged as if to say "fair enough," and pulled out a white dress from my closet. It was made from a flowy material and had no sleeves. It was simple yet pretty. One thing I knew for sure though...
"That's beautiful Gin, but it's winter. It's freezing outside and that doesn't have any sleeves. At all."
"Calm down I figured that out too, you just wear your red leather jacket over it and then your warm and you'll have a pop of color."
I smiled, she really did have it figured out. I'm going to owe Gin a lot after this is over. "Thank you Ginny!"
She gave me a hug and as I hugged her back she said, "yeah well, I need to take care of my hopefully future sister in law." that made me blush, "Also, let me do your hair tomorrow please!"
Laughing, I told her she could. I knew Ginny would make me beautiful. Perfect for the guy I was in love with.

Yes I'm alive and I'm not going to say anymore than things are crazy and I suck at updating. I'll try and get better.
