Karly POV

I woke up with a start. If only dreamless sleeping drought wasn't highly addictive, I wouldn't have to worry about sleep as much.
           "Hey, you okay?" George asked
I nodded, "yeah. What time is it?"
George smiled at me, "sometime in the morning I think from the light coming through the window."
I stared at him, then looked at the window. Sure enough sunlight was coming through the window. I looked back at George. He was grinning like an idiot.
"You managed to keep me asleep?"
He nodded. I laughed a little and kissed him. He held me close and kissed me back.
           "They're both dead."
We broke apart and saw Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Fred standing in the door. I started blushing like crazy.
"SIRIUS!" They all yelled and George and I jumped up.
"You guys want us to die!" I yell at them.
"No, we just want entertainment," Fred says and gets a smack on the arm from me and George.
            "What's going on?"
George and I froze when we saw my dad. I smiled at him and tried not to look guilty. Wait why would I feel guilty? I didn't do anything wrong... right?
            "What did you two do?"
"Nothing! No one did anything!" I quickly.
Dad apparently didn't believe me because he turned to the others. I swear if they say anything they're going to wish that they didn't have to stay here for the rest of the summer with me.
            "We saw them-"
            "Kissing-"
             "In Karly's bed!"
I know four people who are going to die now.
Dad turned on us. I really missed care-free dad.
"Hey nothing happened," George said, "I was just there to make sure Karly didn't have any nightmares."
"Yeah, and thanks to him I actually slept the whole night."
That didn't convince him. Because for the rest of the day dad kept me under close watch by him. We had to help clean up the house because no one had apparently cleaned in the past 15 years. Dad wouldn't let me and George be alone in a room and it was annoying.
"You four are so dead later," I mutter later.
I know I scared them slightly but not enough to stop them from teasing me and George. All day long.
Soon we heard that a group was going to go get Harry. Good I need to talk to him, I thought when Lupin told us.
"Come on Karly, tell us about New York," Ginny begged again.
I finally caved, "fine," we were in the room Hermione and Ginny were sharing. I sat on the floor, and thought of a good moment to tell them about.
"Well, when we first moved there Henry and I went to the huge library they have there. On the way there I ran into this guy. Well actually he ran into me. When he ran into me he accidentally kissed me. We broke apart quickly and he couldn't stop apologizing. Henry was laughing so hard he was almost crying. I told the guy it was fine and we continued to the library. The next day I found out that my mom's work partner was his mom."
Hermione and Ginny were giggling like crazy. The boys weren't in the room at the moment, so i was enjoying the girl time with my older group of girl best friends. Ave and Brook were still two of my best friends but getting to spend time with Mione and Ginny was amazing.
We talked and giggled like this for a few hours. We eventually let Ron join us since the twins were getting on his nerves.
Ginny left for a little bit to see what the twins were doing. Fred had taken a hold of his twin and there had been some strange noises coming out of their room. But they kept coming out to bug Ron since us girls had abandoned him at the moment.
Suddenly Hermione shrieked, jumped up and threw herself at someone standing in the doorway.
"HARRY! Ron, Karly, he's here! Harry's here! We didn't hear you arrive! Oh how are you? Are you all right? Have you been furious with us? I bet you have, I know our letters were useless- but we couldn't tell you anything, Dumbledore made us swear we wouldn't, oh, we've got so much to tell you, and you've got to tell us- the dementors! When we heard- and the Ministry hearing- it's just outrageous, I've looked up, they can't expel you, they just can't, there's provision in the Decree for the Restriction of Underage Sorcery for the use of magic in life-threatening situations-"
"Let him breathe, Hermione," Ron said.
"He's only been here five minutes," I say and grin at Harry.
He hadn't changed much in the two years I hadn't seen him. Really the only thing that changed was the fact he was taller. That's it. He smiled at me.
          "Karly! Your back!"
"Like you guys could scare me off for long."
He chuckled a little. Since my dad was his godfather I considered him like my other brother. And I treated him the same teasing way I did with Henry.
There was a whooshing noise as a familiar snowy owl flew in and landed on Harry's shoulder.
         "Hedwig!"
"She's been in a right state," Ron said, "Pecked us half to death when she brought your last letters, look at this-"
Ron showed Harry a cut on his hand I hadn't noticed earlier.
Ron told Harry they wanted to tell him what was going on apparently. Dumbledore wouldn't let them.
"What about you? You couldn't send a letter? Tell me your back," Harry asked me.
"Hey, I got here yesterday. And I've had my own problems to deal with," namely Pan.
Harry didn't believe us. Ron and Hermione kept assuring him that they didn't know any more than he did. They hadn't been allowed in the meetings. The next thing we knew Harry was yelling at us.
"SO YOU HAVEN'T BEEN IN THE MEETINGS, BIG DEAL! YOU'VE STILL BEEN HERE, HAVEN'T YOU? YOU STILL BEEN TOGETHER-"
I cut him off right there, "stop it! You don't know anything about what's been going on. You don't know what we've had to handle-"
"I'VE HANDLED MORE THAN YOU THREE'VE EVER MANAGED AND DUMBLEDORE KNOWS IT- WHO SAVED THE SORCERERS STONE? WHO GOT RID OF RIDDLE?"
"WHO HAD TO DEAL WITH THE NIGHTMARES AFTER THAT? BECAUSE I DON'T SEE YOU BEING SLEEP DEPRIVED BECAUSE OF NIGHTMARES THAT MAKE YOU WAKE UP SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER!"
My yelling at him didn't stop him. He kept going.
"WHO SAVED YOU ALL FROM THE DEMENTORS? WHO HAD TO GET PAST DRAGONS AND SPHINXES AND EVERY OTHER FOUL THING LAST YEAR? WHO HAD SAW HIM COME BACK? WHO HAD TO ESCAPE FROM HIM? ME!"
"SHUT UP HARRY!" I yell.
He stared at me. I was fuming.
"We get it, we get you've been through a lot. But maybe you should consider what we've been through! Hermione was petrified! Ron sacrificed himself for you in that giant wizards chess game! I-I... I might not have done anything for you, but I've gone through my fair share of pain! We get that you've been through more than us but stop trying to make this seem worse for you. Because if I told you anything about what's been going on for me alone, I'd say that you have barely anything to complain about. So stop being a thick git!"
I didn't stay to hear what he had to say about that. I stormed out of the room to my room. I let out a loud groan mixed with a scream of frustration. Then I broke down sobbing.
