Chains clanked along the floor as the four were led along a long corridor. Jack was being carried in Hiccups arms the white haired boy was green and barely breathing. Rapunzels hand kept gliding across his fingertips.

"Is he going to die?" Elsa asked worriedly. Jack hugged her tightly.

Nulfur dragged them into a large circular room. Four people and one animal where chained against the walls, each in a beam of moonlight. All of the five were recognisable.
Valka
Heather
Pascal
Hamish (Merida's little brother)
Flee (jacks little sister)

The room was silent, everyone one could already feel the feeling in the air.

As if they were standing in a graveyard

"Now I hope you don't mind but i borrowed a few people. For persuasion methods only of course" Nulfur assured the guardians.

"Jack?" Flee called out and Jacks eyes burst open and went wide. "I though you died 400 years ago" he whispered. "No I got Pitch to look after her" Nulfur laughed caressing Flee's cheek. The little girl looked terrified.

Jack stumbled back into Elsa's arms. Tears welled up in his eyes but did not fall. "It's ok" she whispered

"Hamish? What are you doing here?" Merida asked confused. "You missed our 15th Birthday" he replied his fire red hair damp and knotted. (A/N yes the twin are older in this book)

Merida's hands flew to her mouth in shock. "Yes Merida you have been a terrible sister over the last few years" tutted Nulfur.

Rapunzel was staring at Pascal. "Come now pascal, why don't you show your long haired friend who you truly are?".

"Err he's a chameleon" Herbert laughed rolling  his eyes.

Pascal'small body shook, his tail get smaller into his body. His scales grew pale and skin coloured. His body stretched to become a human shape. Looking back at Rapunzel was a young man. About Hiccups age with pale skin and bright green scruffy hair.

"Or not" Herbert corrected himself

Rapunzel looked close to shock, her eyes never leaving Pascal. "I'm sorry Rapunzel. I could never bring myself to tell you" pascals voice was deep but melodic like a princes. "I grew up with you for 18 years and you never thought to tell me. All those times I wanted another human and you decided to ignore my pleas" Rapunzel sounded heart broken.

"He did it to protect you" Tess whispered comfortingly to Rapunzel. Rapunzel nodded but hugged Flyne tighter.

Hiccup set Jack next to his sister as he approached his mother and Heather. Valka was silent watching her son, while Heather held tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Hiccup" she whispered. Hiccup shook his head smiling at her, "there's nothing to be sorry for Heather" he told her.

"Valka? After all these years. She's as beautiful as the day I met her" Stoick sighed. The huge Viking chief turned to a pile of feelings in seconds with his son crouched next to him.

"No there is nothing to forgive" Nulfur chuckled, "yet" he nodded to a shadow whom pulled a lever. Hamish chains pulled in his neck slowly strangling him. Merida screamed but it was too late as her brother fell dead at her feet. Merida fell through a hole in the floor.

"Hamish!" Elianor screamed and Furgus let out a noise like a strangled bear.

An arrow shot from the wall impaled pascal in the head. Killing him instantly. Before Rapunzel could even react she fell through the floor with a scream.
