The screen showed a blizzard swirling around the heroes as they flew through the snow. Hiccup was leading with Astrid on his left the others trailed behind slightly.
"I am really hurt by the fact Mr Haddock you have not called us to ride on magical winged yaks" Tuff cried angrily his sister nodding. "There not yaks tuff their stallions." Hiccup sighed
'Jack' peeled off as they landed on a hill made of ice. The others landed next to them. From between the clouds of snow a huge black castle appeared. Shadow men armed the battlements and towers. Weapons were drawn and ready.
"That might be a wee problem" Merida muttered
"Flyne and Elsa go and get the horses away we'll then circle around and wait on the crest of the hill. Jack will signal to you" Hiccup ordered and the two ran off with the stallions. "Astrid go with them and take stormfly" Jack nodded at Astrid. The blonde looked like she's wanted to complain but at a look from Hiccup she nodded and followed.
"I still can't believe you guys haven't noticed that not me!" Grumble Jack. Jay was watching jack carefully they had the same ice blue eyes.
"What now?" Rapunzel whispered. The rest turned to her, "what?". Merida grabbed her bow and set off down the hill with both boys and toothless in toe. "I was afraid of that" sighed Rapunzel skipping after them.
The four reached the wall. They stick to the shadows. Toothless blended in perfectly but Rapunzels hair was causing a slight problem. "Could you stop being useless for once" growled jack. The other two looked taken aback and Rapunzel looked hurt. "Jack?" Merida whispered grabbing the boys arm. "No. You know exactly what i mean. What has she done apart from heal people and get caught all the time. Now become of that stupid hair we're all going to get caught"
Everyone looked angrily at jack. The young guardian held up his hands. "Hey! Not me remember!" He yelled. Rapunzel was sitting very still her eyes on the screen.
Rapunzel looks at Merida for help but the red head hesitated. "Maybe he's right Rapunzel. You should sit this one out" Rapunzels green eyes had become shinny. Hiccup looked between the three, "what they mean is we don't want you getting hurt" he said forcefully looking at the other two. Rapunzel held up here hand, "you mean you don't want me getting caught and being another person to save" her voice wavered as if she was on the brink of tears.
"We don't think that punzie" Merida said gently hugging her friend tightly. Rapunzel smiled at them. "I know".
"Yes" two voices sighed. "No" one whispered. Hiccup stared at the other two in surprise. "What is going on with you guys?"He asked confused.
"I would like to know that as well" Tess murmured, "I don't remember thins part of the 'story'" jay scowled at the screen. "I don't remember them EVER telling us this part of it" he growled angrily. "After this you and I are going to have a nice long family talk with our parents" Tess agreed.
"Don't try to defender her Haddock! I've seen the way you plan and put her away from it all, ready to dive in and heal but to stay out of the way! You just don't say it!" Jack cried, glaring at Rapunzel. "He's right Hic, Rapunzel has her uses but she's not fighter" Merida agreed looking at her feet guiltily.
"Don't say that" Astrid whispered and all the females nodded in agreement.
"Is that all I am to you? A tool? Someone you call if you need help? An inanimate object?" Rapunzel cried, tears falling from her eyes. "No" hiccup argued but his voice was quite. Rapunzel turned away angrily.
Rapunzel:
Today I washed my makeup away so the mirror could see my face
I wanted all my pain to portray what my words could not say
Cause I'll never be good enough
They see my tears and call my bluff
Gotta tough it out and suck it up to stay, to stay
Keep on runnin to the top, no time to breathe, no time to stop

"Ah that might be a wee little um.." Fergus scratched his beard. "Problem" stoick suggested. "Exactly"
Hiccup & Rapunzel:
Gotta shut the world out and breakdown so I can see what's left of me
Time for me to be alone, where I feel home and remember what I believe
I just wanna cry out loud, cuz it's the only sound that will truly set me free
I'm standing still to say to you, I'm not perfect
Just thought you should know
Hiccup took Rapunzels hand smiling at her. His eyes were steady as he looked at her. Rapunzels stopped crying and her hair began to glow.
Hiccup:
So hard I can't find my way and I'm tired of all this rain
I'm damaged and so ashamed, only half my soul remains
Cause I'll never be pretty enough
They see my tears and call my bluff
Gotta tough it out and suck it up to stay, to stay

Merida pushes herself off the wall and towards the two. She looked sorry but determined.
Hiccup, Rapunzel & Merida:

"Now that's a little more like the friendship we know" Rapunzels mother sighed happily.
Merida:

Jack watched the three a wicked smile planted on his face.
"He's waiting for something" Tess growled. Everyone noticed the change in the two young teenagers. Jay and Tess no longer watched like they knew what would happen next like they had done previously. Now the watched the screen like a wolf stalking their pray. Desperate for a opening, desperate for answers. Falin had left Toothless and had curled around behind Tess and jay.

Rapunzel threw herself into Hiccups arms and Merida joined in. A shadow fell across the moon and fire blazed on all around them. "Jack?!" Cried Merida turning to see 'Jack' leaning against the battlements the fire not effecting him, his eyes now clearly yellow.
Hiccup pulled inferno and Merida her bow. "Next time you try and sneak into my home. Don't yell and sing loudly right below where guards are" Nulfur came into crow dragging a half conscious Jack with him. "It's a really bad way of sneaking into a place. But make sit very easy to catch you. I don't even need James to warn me" he pointed as the fake jack apparently named James.
"You wee bastard" growled Merida.
Pitch place a pale blade to jacks green tinted skin. "Now if you don't put you weapons down and come quietly with me I'll see what colour his blood is" Nulfur smiled sweetly at the three.
"We're totally dead aren't we?" Hiccup mumbled
The camera zoomed in on the floor next to hiccup where it shows inferno hitting the ground.
"Yep. We're most defiantly dead"
