*A month later...

*Hyang Soon's POV*

"예, 아버지. (yes, dad)", I replied, my voice sounding bold yet trembling. Until suddenly, a tear quickly rolled down my eyes without me noticing it.

"Hyung, are you alright?", Yi Ahn gently shook my arm as he asked wearing his worried face.

"I...", I began but immediately stopped as soon as the call dropped. I looked at Yi Ahn and opened my mouth but no words came out of it. My head was in a complete shock. Thoughts in my mind were in chaos that it is barely possible for me to think straight. I was sweating. Cold. My heart pounded heavier and louder as I tried pulling myself together.

"I... I have to go.", I told him in a hurry and started rushing outside of the building. As I began to run faster, my legs that are both swinging back in forth in a fast motion suddenly faltered, making me stumble to the ground.

Standing up, my legs started feeling weak as it slightly quivered. My body's telling me to stop running already but right now, I just can't. I have to keep on running. I have to because she needs me. She's waiting for me, and the only thing I know right at this moment is that I have to get to her as soon as possible...

Before it's too late.

Arriving at the hospital, I was greeted by several nurses and a doctor hurriedly running with a patient on a hospital emergency bed towards the direction where the OR takes place. As I saw them enter the OR, my heart started quickening and cold sweat came running down my spine all over again.

'Please tell me it wasn't her. Please tell me it wasn't her.', I repetitively told myself as I rushed towards the information center.

"U-um, ex-excuse me, Miss. Excuse me~!", I called at the nurse who has her back at me and fixing the possible documents of the other patients. Once she heard me call her, she instantly stopped doing what she was doing and approached me.

"Yes, Sir. How may I—", she began but I didn't let her finished her words and interrupted her.
