Today I'm going to talk about "Emo Style". Now I guess the main thing you want to focus on when dressing emo would be your: Skinny jeans, converse, band tees, make up, and the hair. Accessories go in between.
#1 : Skinny Jeans
You can buy any type of skinny jeans at any store that sells pants, there not hard to find. I like super skinny jeans because they look like skinny jeans if you don't get the super skinny ones, they look like regular pants. Just saying. I know some people think that it would be hard to put on skinny jeans or they think it will blow out their body but really, skinny jeans don't blow out your body they fit your curves (trust me I had a lot of guys compliment my butt while wearing skinny jeans). And as for it being hard to put them on, it's really not. They slide on like normal pants (: .
There's different colors and styles in skinny jeans. You can buy them in any color really. I've seen red, purple, teal, white, black...and more. Or you can buy the normal denim ones.
#2: Converse
I used to wear these when I was a kid so getting to wear them again was really exciting for me :D . They have low tops and high tops. I get them both because when your wearing shorts, my mother thinks they look weird with high tops. I just get black, my sister actually got purple. I got neon green laces for my low tops (: you can buy those at Hot Topic or any shoe store really. Now, I've noticed they have these knee high converse, which look really awesome! But just yesterday I asked my mom to get them and she said no ): . Well, for my opinion, stick with one color. I chose black, Alyssa chose purple. Their cute that way, I don't like the patterns. Sorry if some of you do.
#3: Band Tees
I like a lot of bands, I'm actually starting one next year with my friend Jes. But I'm not allowed to get band tees ): so I'm going to ask for some on my birthday! :D. But you can buy band tees at Hot Topic, Spencers (sp) . But sometimes they might not have the shirt your looking for so it might be best to shop online.

#4: Make up
All I do for my make up is foundation, powder, eye base, eyeliner, eye shadow. That's all I do. Now I do use a lot of black (: . I want to say use liquid liner but for some reason, I can't seem to work it. So...once I get that working then I'll tell you what I think. But for the emo/scene/Goth style, use black...a lot of it (: .
#5: Hair
Most people like to tease their hair but I heard it gives it some serious damage. I have tried it once and it's like working the liquid liner, very hard. Now for some of you who still want to tease your hair, just go on youtube.com and watch videos about it. I heard there's other ways to give that same volume to your hair like this Sauvé shampoo, blow drying it a way, straightening it a way, bump it's, and these new extensions. I think I'm going to try the shampoo, just because I don't have enough time in the morning (for school) to do all of the rest. Now dying it, do any color you want. Even exotic colors like pink and blue. (only if your parents let you) Mine wont let me dye my hair black :/ . It sucks. If you are allowed to dye your hair black then I suggest you do it! (: .
#6: Accessories
Now this could mean anything. Bows, belts, rings, necklaces, bracelets, gloves, tights...anything. I use bows now because I think they look adorable. And I'm going to try to use a stud belt, which I don't know how to wear with a long shirt? Can someone please comment and tell me. Also, I'm going to wear band necklaces and bracelets and a ring my grandma gave me for graduation! Anything's fine (: . I would love to get extensions also...I know some of you think EW! But they really just give your short hair or long hair or whatever the length you want. You can get those in any color also.
