I glanced at the clock and it was 7, Mike is going to be here any minute I went to my closet and took out my biker jacket it will go perfectly with my outfit I quickly put it on and walked over to my mirror and looked at myself to check for any mistakes, I was wearing black ripped shorts with a black see through top it was not slutty looking it was actually quite hot and with that I opted for my favourite black strappy heels and as for my makeup I kept my eyes simple I just did a kat eye and added lots of mascara to top it all off I wore a wine colour lipstick, after one last look I went downstairs to get my phone I left it in the kitchen after talking to my mom, turns out my mom is going to stay with my father for 4 months or until he is perfect, I seriously don't know how the hell am I gonna stay alone with my creepy ass neighbour. I picked up my phone from the counter and saw I had 2 messages 1 from an unknown number and the other one from Mike, I quickly opened my messages to first read the message from Mike, his name is enough to put a smile on my face. As I opened his message my smile and all the excitement went out of the drain
the date was just a bet with my friends I hope u didn't get too excited LOL ;p

I read the message again and again and I just could not believe it,I never expected something like this from him I mean its just so unlike him, how could he do this to me I felt tears pricking my eyes NO I will not cry over a stupid asshole I actually thought that he was different but he is just like his dumb ass friends. I blocked his number from my phone, I don't even wanna see his face. I opened the other message

I seriously wasn't in the mood for pranks I closed my phone without a single thought about that anonymous text I went to lay on my couch all I could think was why did he do it and why me? why do guys have to be assholes? I groaned I waisted so much time getting ready I even waisted a perfect outfit, suddenly the doorbell rang a small part of me wished it would be Mike and he would say that it was all a joke and we would happily spend time together I ran to open the door only to come face to face with another asshole "oh its you" even I could hear the disappointment in my voice
"can I please come in?" Justin asked looking into my eyes and for the first time his cold blue eyes looked warm and I could see he was nervous which was unusual of him because he always acts cocky or like a pervert so I let him inside I walked with him to the living room and we both sat on the couch after a minute of awkward silence he decided to break it
" look I am really sorry for how I behaved earlier that was not nice at all and I am not even your friend I have no right to tell you anything I really hope you forgive me" wow I did not expect him to apologise he actually looks really sorry
"its's okay I understand and you are my friend" I gave him a small hug, damn he smells good.
"you look beautiful tonight" he said in a friendly voice
"thanks" at least someone get to appreciate my work
"I should probably go before your date comes" he winked and got up to leave
" yeah... he kinda bailed on me so.. yeahh" I looked down and played with my shorts I feel like crying but I don't wanna cry in front of him so I controlled myself. I felt him sit next to me he gently took my face in his hands and tilted my head towards him so he could look at me
" cheer up.. what are friends for anyways, I'll take you to dinner and its my treat. Lets celebrate tonight to a new beginning" I thought about his offer for a minute besides I have nothing else to do
