Epilogue

Niranjana climbed down the hospital steps slowly. She then saw Ranjan standing outside the gate. He was leaning on his car, in his regular posture, with arms folded across the chest and one leg bend back. Her heart lurched seeing him, but she did not rush to him and was walking slowly with a smile. He smiled back at her. In fact he looked enjoying her slow movement towards him.

She was wearing the Grey and Pink dress, which she wanted to buy but was talked out by Sanjana. Apparently Ranjan purchased the dress on the same day and surprised her with that on their marriage night.

The routine never changed and she saw him every day waiting for her to pick up home. He was never tired of waiting for her. Niranjana cannot believe that her life changed so much. After that day, when they declared their love to each other, Ranjan didn't rushed her into marriage. He wanted Niranjana to be sure of his love without any doubt. They enjoyed their fair share of days as lovers.

And one final day, they started a new chapter in life as husband and wife. From then she felt his love and care for her to grow more and more. She never believed she can love him any further, but she now found that their love for each other will never cease to grow.

"Did you really come to see me or...?" she questioned with a smile. His eyes twinkled back. 

"How can I refuse such a sight to sore eyes by not seeing you?" he asked back knowing that she never meant the question in a least bit.

"Besides...." he paused told with extreme softness by laying his hand over her tummy "this is an additional bonus."

She is visibly pregnant with their child. An evidence for their love and happiness. A child who will be cherished with love by both Mom and Dad as they love each other. She laid her hand over his and smiled at his eyes.

He looked at her with all the love in the world.

"Do you remember the question you asked that day?" Niranjana very well understood about what he was quoting to.

"Will I be getting the answer today?" she answered back again in a question.

Ranjan smiled "I will never call you Niru. The reason I always call you Niranjana is because that you and I are one. Ranjan is always inside Niranjana as the way I am always in your heart and..." He told her softly and Niranjana completed the sentence "As the way I am always in your heart."
