Neil and Avni broke the hug shortly. Neil looked at her state and decided that he should soon take her home. She badly needed rest. He held her hands and supported her with one hand around her waist. He walked upto the car parked for them near the highway. He thought "DD was indeed a great help..". Though he is his subordinate, he plays role of a brother and friend at the same time.

Inside the car, silence was ruling which clearly annoyed both of them. Finally Avni decided to start the conversation...
Avni: Neil...
Neil: hmm..
Avni: chup kyun ho tum?
Neil: tum bhi tho chup ho..
Avni: u dont have anything to ask? Why I left the house?
Neil: No..I know why. And i can totally undrstand.. but Avni.. I didnt write any letter.. thats actually somebody's plan and i will find it out.
Avni: why do you even clarify Neil? I knw its not you. But that cant clear off the fact that I have lied to evrybody about my identity. I was way too broken to be there and wait for u. I was insulted and I had to leave.. Iam sorry..

Neil was amazed at the amount of trust she has on him. Without even realising he asked..
Neil: ithna bharosa karthe ho mujhpe??
Avni: khud se bhi zyaada..

Neil looked at her and a smile gleamed on his face. Don't know why this made him really very happy.

Neil: if u trust me this much, then trust this decision too. I know you had been insulted badly. But to sort out evrything u have to return. Staying away is not a solution. I promise i wll make evrythng fine... Aaogi na?

Avni: Neil.. if I come some or other issue wll happen..

Neil: maine bola na i wil set things right. If u have trust on me come back with me..

Avni didnt have to think again..
Avni: okay..

Neil smiled with satisfaction. They went to Avni's home to pick up her luggage. They took neela ma's blessings and headed towards Khanna house.

Neil rang the calling bell. Prakash opened the door and a smile came on his face. Swetha fumed seeing Avni back.
Swetha(shouting): Tillu.. ye ladki..
Neil: Dad.. I have brought my wife back and she has come back because she trusts me. You dont have a problem right?
Prakash: prblm? You brought my daughter back Neil...what better can happen?
Neil: thanks dad.. and whoevr has to qustion or taunt my wife they can do it. But please keep in mind that they are questioning my decision. Because every single problm has to cross me before reaching Avni. And please meet my wife... Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna..

Swetha and bebe looked on shocked when Neil held Avni's hands and took her to room to dress up her wounds before anybody could bombard them with questions.
Neil: Avni.. go and change yr clothes.
Both of them changed into night suits. Neil took the first aid box and started nursing evry single wound. Neil blowed upon them as he saw Avni wincing in pain.
Neil: Do u have any other wound? I mean u need doctr?
Avni smiled at his care. "No Neil. Iam fine..."
Neil: pakka na??
Avni: yes pakka.. sachhi
Neil: mm..okay.. ab tum so jao.. you need good sleep. Rest of the things we'll see later..
Neil put her into sleep and covered her with blanket. He caressed her face and did something he never did before. He leaned in and kissed her forehead as a tear from his eyes fell on her.
Avni was surprised and emotional at this gesture. She understood that he was still worried for her.
Avni got up and cupped his face with her hands.
Avni: Neil.. look at me.. Iam fine okay.. trust me.. nothing can happen to me when yu r with me yaar.. why do u take this much tension?
Neil gazed into the most beautiful eyes he has ever seen..
Neil: mmm... So jao tum ..
Avni: Neil.. ek bath poochoon?
Neil: haan...
Avni: Do u really accept me as your wife? You want to make this marriage work out? You rlly do see me as Avni Neil Khanna??

Neil never expected this question this soon. He was at a loss of words. If he said no, then she would see it as a favour again. If he said yes, he would have to explain why. And why?? He didnt know that.. he just knew that the thought of letting her go nearly takes his life evrytime..

Avni: I am asking you something..

Neil: If u have no problem in being in this relation, even I dont mind. But if u r not fine with it, you have evry freedom to move out... But lets handle these problems first..

Avni(sighed..): really? Does this make an answer to my qstn?? I asked what do u want...

Neil found himself trapped. As we searched for an answer he heard loud thumping of water droplets and gushing wind. It was raining. He at once opened the window and stood there smiling ..watching the rain.. ( iam not sure whether deir room has a window!!)
Avni went and stood beside him..
Neil: u knw Avni.. rain happens with such noise..thunder.. lightning.. and lots of muddy water ofcourse. But at the end, it makes things clear and fresh... Life also is like that.. after gving a bunch of problems to deal with.. it wil have its own positive side..jaise mujhe aaj patha chala ki tum mujhpe ithna bharosa karthe ho... Same way..something good will happen...
Avni: is this why you love rain dis much??
Neil: may be ys... You dont?
Avni(smiled): no.. but yea bachpan mein i used to have so much fun in rain... Dancing.. having ice creams ...bahot kuch.. ali se poocho.. he must be remembring...
Neil turned to face her..
Neil: bachpan me hain tho ab kyn nahi? As if you are in your 80s..??
Avni laughed..
Avni: No.. I have that fun filled crazy Avni long behind. Now I am a practical and mature Avni. I didnt want this change. But I was forced under my circumstances... Ab tho yehi Avni hai..
Neil stared at her being lost in memories.
Avni: chalo...lets sleep..tum bhi so jao.. u are tired..
Neil: yea..come..

Both of them stretched out on the bed. Avni felt a tear escape her face. She soon wiped it off and turned to face Neil.
Neil thought to himself..
" The real Avni is lost somewhere.. jo is se bhi khubsurat hai..Main us Avni ko wapas launga.. ye vaada raha tumse aur khud se bhi.."
He turned around to face Avni. They both smiled at each other and dozed off to sleep..
