Avneil : As they fall in love

part 30-(Track him down)

Neil paced to and fro in his room. Rahul was discharged and was taken care of by everyone in the family. Avni's first step to success was concluded by a deathly attack. She was scared to even think of getting up after this fall. Neil was determined to attack Mr.Pandit or Mr.Vikas Pandit precisely. He had been hunting for a single trace of him since the past 3 days after the electric attack. He had to somehow reach Mr.Pandit. A latest spy informed Neil of VP residing in a chawl unknown to the rest of the world. Not even a hush or chance of another attack was known. Now, Neil had to go and search the chawl which was the only piece of information he had right then. He had to be alert and was not ready to lose this time. This movement had to be the largest and last one in search of VP. This had to be the end of him even that meant an encounter. For Neil, VP was now a social threat and danger to his wife. A dozen thoughts crossed his mind while he paced around his bedroom. Avni came in right then.

Avni: Idhar udhar ghoomne se kya hoga darling hubby?

Neil: How can you be tension free Avni?

Avni: Because I have you. Tumhare rehte mujhe kya ho sakta hai Neil?

Neil: I was there even 3 days before. I get shivers when I think what could have happened that day.

Avni: I would have died..

Neil rushed to cover her mouth with his hand and looked straight to her eyes.

Neil: How dare you say that? Avni! Aise khayal laana bhi math dil me..

Avni kissed his hand which stopped her from speaking further. She placed both of his hands around her own waist and circled hers around his neck. She kissed him passionately while his hands caressed her bare waist. Neil explored her mouth with his tongue pulling her much closer. Avni knew he was much scared to lose her. Avni slowly broke out of the kiss and wiped away those precious tears flowing down his cheeks.

Avni: Neil! We will set things right. I trust my husband more than anyone. And believe me. Mujhe kuch nahi hoga. Okay?

Neil always exposed his vulnerable side to Avni. Within minutes, she could comfort him and absorb his drained strength from her. Neil nodded to her and smiled at her with contentment.

Neil: I love you.

Avni: I know. Kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai..

Neil: Still... I love you..

Avni: Leave Mr.Khanna. Get that animal out of his den. And be careful.

Neil: I love you...

Avni: I love you too..

Neil smiled in satisfaction and went to his jeep. Just as he crossed the gate, Avni called him on the phone. He parked his jeep outside the gate on the roadside and attended the call.

Neil: Yes wifey?

Avni: Handcuffs bhool gaye Neil.

Neil: Oh! So sorry. I will just come.

Avni: Nah. Stay there. I will come.

Neil: Okay! Aa jao..

Neil stood outside the jeep leaned against the bonnet waiting for her. Avni walked outside towards him. He could see his ravishing beauty approaching him doubling up his heartbeats. Just then a bike raced up to her, swept her in one go and vanished into dust. Neil screamed and ran behind the bike only to be left behind. It took him time to recover from what had just happened. He saw his handcuffs fallen on the road. He grabbed them and fumbled for his phone. He informed DD about everything. He ran his jeep madly just then his phone rang. He was startled at Avni's name flashing on the screen. He took the call and started screaming.

Neil: Hey you!! I know who you are! Agar use kuch bhi hua na..

Avni: Neil.. Its me..

Neil: AVNI! Tum?? Are you fine love? Where are you?

Avni: Iam fine. Calm down. I am standing beneath an old electric post nearer to the chawl you were going to search. .

Neil: Stay there baby! Kahin mat jaana. I will just come.

Neil drove to the chawl and screeched his jeep to a hault. He saw Avni standing and ran only to embrace her in a bone crushing hug. He looked all over Avni and kept on asking if she was fine. DD arrived at the scene with his full team as informed by Neil.

Avni: It was him. Mr.Vikas Pandit. He said he wanted me to come over to his place. He said " Your time is up! ACP Neil should bring you here with him whenever he plans an attack on me. Wapas jaane ki koshish bhi mat karna. Main tumhe fir se yahan aane pe mazboor karoonga. Stay here. Wait for your husband. Then, come inside. I will wait for you.

Neil: Bastard! He nearly took my life. But, this sounds to be much dangerous. He knew I would keep you away from all this. He is not a man of emotions. He is not here for his wife and son for sure. We ruined his business, that can be the only reason for his revenge. Or may be something else...
