The trip was on and they were extremely cautious throughout. Neil gave his phone to Avni to attend and manage calls from DD while he concentrated on the roads. The phone rang again.

Neil: Avni. Pick up and put it on speaker.

Avni(did the same): Yes DD. Neil is hearing you.

DD: Sir. Our team has successfully located the vehicle. It has not moved from the attack spot Sir.

Neil: They are doing so because if somehow police traces the vehicle, they can give them wrong info. Smart! Very Smart!

DD: Sir. You are right Sir. Otherwise they should have cleared this place long time ago.

Neil: Do one thing. Are the goons there?

DD: Yes sir.

Neil: Without letting them know, note down the vehicle's number and find out on whose name is it registered. Find out the owner's location and lets see if we get some link.

DD: Sure Sir. And about the goons?

Neil: Don't even let them know you are watching them DD. Apna kaam karo aur nikal jao chup chap. They should not know that we are spying on them.

DD: Okay Sir. Kaam ho jayega. You don't worry.

And he cut the phone. They were close to their resort. They reached the resort by the breaking of dawn. They were surprised that no more attacks occured to them. But, Neil seemed to be sorted and much confident about how things were going. Neil got two rooms one for him and Avni. The other one for Ali and Juhi.

Neil: I know its weird to stay in the same room. But situation is such that I can't let any one of you to occupy a room alone.

Ali: Its ok Neil. We totally understand. Hai na?

Juhi: Yes. Not an issue.

Neil: Ok guyz. Freshen up soon and we need to meet within an hour. Preferably in your room. Will that be fine?

Ali: Whts der to ask? Completely fine.

All of them moved to their rooms to freshen up themselves. Be it for whatever reason, they were on a holiday. Their rooms were adjacent ones. In Avneil's room..

As soon as they reached the room and settled their luggage, Neil locked the door. He at once turned and ran towards Avni to engulf her in a tight hug.

Neil: Avni. Tum teek ho na? Is it paining a lot?

Avni: It is paining to see you like this Neil. Iam okay. Ithna tension math lo.
This is a simple wound...

Before she could complete her words, Neil passionately kissed on her perfect lips. He was not letting her go despite all her struggles. He held her even tighter and crushed his body onto her. Avni forgot at once about the alarming circumstances they were in and stopped worrying. She knew nothing wrong could happen till Neil was there. She held herself close to him to feel his hot breath. She was lost in the taste that enriched her mouth.

Neil slowly broke the kiss.
Neil: I want you forever. A simple thought of something happening to you makes me unstable. Promise me that you won't leave me.

Avni sensed the emotions her Neil was going through.

Avni: I will be there Neil. No matter what, I will always be there with you.

They freshened up to meet Ali and Juhi in their room. As Neil opened the door....
