Avni whiled away her time. She was growing impatient. Thousands of questions popped up in her mind. She was frustrated at life being not normal to her at any time. Her glance suddenly fell upon her wedding photo kept on the bedrest.

She recollected everything Neil did for her, those moments when she felt that Neil being on her side was the biggest gift for her. She had missed her music classes in the past few days in which Neil enrolled her. She decided on going to the class the next day itself. She didn't realise when she started humming to herself.

Meanwhile, Neil stormed into Khanna mansion like fire. He saw Swetha sitting on the sofa.

Neil: Mom. We will have an unexpected guest tonight for dinner. Ali, DD and a person that you would least expect. Please take care.

Swetha: I will take care. Lekin tujhe kya hua hai?

Neil: kuch nahi mom. Just leave me alone.

He climbed up the stairs and slowed down midway hearing a melodious voice soothing away from his room. He slowly peeped in to his room to see the most amazing sight for him at that time. Her voice seemed to be the sweetest in the world.

Avni sung to herself...

Lag ja gale ki phir yeh haseen rath ho na ho...

Shayad fir is janam mein mulaqat ho na ho..

Lag jaa gale... hmm...hmm...

Neil was stuck in awe. He slowly made his way to the room. He saw her caressing their photoframe and smiled.

Humko mili hai aaa..

She turned around at this point and jolted back seeing him. She at once stopped singing. He held her shoulders with both his hands and made her sit on the bed.

Neil: Ruk kyun gayi? Continue.

Avni looked at him and inspected his eyes. Somewhere she felt everything was okay. The man standing in front of her was head over heals in love with her. He has made things better.
Neil signed her to go on. Avni's soulful voice started to fill the room as if she is bearing her heart out to her love.

Humko mili hai aaj ye ghadiyan naseeb se..
Jee bhar ke dekh leejiye humko kareeb se..

Neil hugged her sideways and made her sit on the bed along with him. Both of them leaned backwards on pillows at the headrest of the bed.

Phir aapke naseeb mein ye baath ho na ho...
Shayad phir is janam me mulaqaat ho na ho..
Lag jaa gale... hmm hmm...

Slowly, she raised her head to look at Neil who had closed his eyes feeling peaceful with her voice. A tear drop dripped down her cheeks on to Neil's fingers. He shot open his eyes and they had an eyelock.

Paas ayiye ki hum nahi aayenge baar baar..
Bahen gale mein dal ke hum ro le zaar zaar..

Neil slowly wiped off her tears and planted a kiss on her eyes.

Aankhon se phir ye pyaar ki barsaat ho na ho..
Shayad fir is janam mein mulaqaat ho na ho..
Lag jaa gale.. ki phir ye haseen rath ho na ho...
Shayad fir is janam mein mulaqaat ho na ho...
Lag ja gale... hmm...hmm...

Neil slimed at her and started clapping lightly.

Neil: Wah! Tumhari aawaz mein tho jaadu hai yaar! Ab lag ja gale..

Neil spread out his hands and smirked at her. Avni laughed and hugged him tight. He hugged her back.

Neil: Thankyou. I was missing this laughter badly. Aur maine sab teek kar diya hai. Ali, DD and Juhi will be coming over here for dinner tonight. Sabko kuch bathana hai. You will also get to know.

Avni remained in the hug and asked
Avni: nothing to worry?

Neil: nothing at all wifey.

At the night all of them were waiting at the dining table for that anonymous guest. As Ali and DD came in with Juhi, everybody was left in utter shock. They couldn't believe their eyes.

Bebe: Juhi...!!!

Swetha pulled her into a hug.
Swetha: Tum zinda ho? Ye sab kaise..

Prakash: ye sab kya hai Neil?

Neil explained everything to them from her fake death to kidnap, escaping from there and how he found out the truth. Juhi kept her gaze down throughout in shame. Everyone could feel the tension that prevailed between Neil and Juhi.

Bebe: Tillu.. puthar.. Let bygones be bygones. Use maaf kar de..

Neil: maaf kar doon? Jo usne kiya..

Avni: kuch acha sochkar kiya Neil. Galat kiya usne. But she wished good for you. Maaf kar do Neil.

Juhi was in surprise. She never expected Avni to speak a single word in her favour. She looked pleadingly to Neil. Neil looked away.

Avni: Now we have to find those grave culprits too. Neil, forgive her please. Jo bhi usne kiya uske liye wo sharminda hai. And you always say na, every person who does mistake deserves a chance to rectify themselves. Tho maaf kar do..

Neil: Avni tum samajh..

Avni: Mere liye.. Please.

Neil looked intently to the truthfullness in her eyes. There stood his wife who is pleading to him to forgive his ex girlfriend. What is she made of?

Neil: Maaf kiya..

Everybody smiled in happiness.
Juhi: Thankyou Avni.

Neil: Excuse us for a minute. You guyz start your food.

And he dragged Avni to a corner.
Avni: hmm?

Neil: Avni. I don't trust her now. Problems create karegi tho?

Avni: My super cop is there to solve.

Neil: Avni. I am not joking. May be she would try to play mind games with you. She said she loves me.

Avni: Neil. She did everything with good intentions. If she wanted, she could have married you for a luxurious life. But she chose to be declared dead so that she can get you out from this. Honestly, I don't think she would harm us. And even if she does, nobody can break my trust upon you. Aaj thak nahi toota tho ab kya tootega? Avni aur Neil hamesha AVNEIL hi rahega.. And about she being in love with you...  Tum ho hi aise ki kisi ko bhi pyar ho jatha hai.

Neil smiled: Really?

Avni: ahan.. Really.. Come lets have dinner.

Someone stood watching them determined to separate them from each other
