Bellamy's POV:

My heart is racing, and my head is light and fuzzy. Kay is in trouble and it's my fault. I let her go by herself. I do what I always do, I put people in harm's way.

I SHOULDN'T HAVE LET HER GO! She is dead. I shouldn't have let her go. She wasn't safe. She was hurt! She is my my responsibility. She is having my child! I let her go. I did that!

"Bellamy!" Clarke's voice takes me out of my trance. I snap my head towards her. Her eyes are full of panic. "We have to go."

My leader instincts kick in. "Gather up your gear. Grab any weapons, water, medical supplies, and food we may need." I yell to anyone in my vicinity. Nobody moves. "Time is of the essence everyone, Kay needs our help. Now move!"

A small party starts to gather to help search for Kay.

Clarke's POV:

Kay is going to be alright. I glance at Bellamy's worry stricken body. He won't be able to come back from this if she isn't safe. We let her go. She has to be safe.

I look back over at Bellamy, I can tell he is not doing well. I slowly walk over to him, and put my hand on his shoulder. "I let her go." Bellamy whispered, barely audible. "This is all my fault."

My heart sank hearing his words. I shook my head. "No, Bell, none of this is your fault. She wanted to be left alone. You couldn't force her to come back to camp with us."

Bellamy shrugged my hand off of his shoulder. "That's the thing Clarke, I should have." And with that, he walked away.

I felt someone bump into me. "Hey!" I yell. I see Jasper's body march towards Bellamy. Jasper usually isn't a hot head until it comes to Kay. She is like an idol for him, and he thinks that he is her weird nerdy guardian angel or something. I chase after him, not wanting him to make a scene in front of everyone.

"Jasper wait!" I yell after him. I catch up to him and grab his hand. "Hey what's up?" I ask.

"Stay out of this Clarke. He did this to her again! He thinks he is doing everything right for this camp, but he can't even keep Kay safe!" His voice becoming louder with each word.

I stand next to him. "This is not the time nor place for this discussion Jasper." I say in a low voice.

"Like I give a shit about that, Clarke. You care about her! Why don't you care about this?" He yells in my face.

I grab onto his arm, tightly. "I love her, but this isn't Bellamy's fault." Jasper rolls his eyes. "Jasper, look at him!" I order. We both turn our gazes towards the shaggy headed man. He is pacing, ordering people around to hurry up. He keeps twirling something in his hand. "Does he look like he is okay with all of this? Does he look like he doesn't already feel terrible?" Jasper looks down. "He wanted her to come back with us, but I told him to let her go. If you need to blame anyone, blame me." I say coldly. He continues to stare at the ground. "Now if you want to contribute something, grab a pack and help us find her." I let go of his arm and walk towards Bellamy.

I stand next to him, my pack in hand, gun fully loaded. Bellamy looks at me, and then at the rest of the group. "Let's head out!"

We all follow him as he leads us into the dark forest. "So what we know is that last night Clarke, Kay, and I were attacked by a member of our camp who was hired by someone on the Ark. She was hurt pretty badly, and she ventured off back to camp by herself. She never came back. We heard a scream come back from around that way." He pointed towards the east. "But in this forest who the hell knows where these sounds come from."
