My eyes immediately shift open and to come to see Damon standing in front of me. I am not sure what he is doing, though. My eyes are briefly a blur. "Good morning, sunshine." he says. I finally lean my body up and stare at him.
"Were you watching me sleep?" I get up off the bed quickly, but not mad at all at Damon. I love him, and he ccan watch me sleep if he doesn't mind looking at a raccoon. He rolls his eyes and a big smile appears on his face. It is so weird how he could do that, put a smile on his face that makes his eyes shine like gold in the shinning sun. He's perfect.
"I could do that all day." He finally says and he stares at me, "You're beautiful." I roll my eyes and smirk. He must be joking. My face is hideous right now. Maybe some other mornings, but not this one. This one I am extremely ugly and I can tell that by the way I feel.
"Yeah. And Barney can fly..." I say overly sarcastic with a loud smirk. I finally start walking down stairs and after a second Damon turns around and follows me down every step. "We change tonight, right?"
Damon looks at his hand and frowns. "Yes." He runs his fingers through his hair almost like those dramatic scenes in movies where in slow motion, they flip their hair. "Are you afraid, Jade?" I smile like its possible to not be afraid. He comes up to me and puts his arms around my waist.
"I am. Damon, we don't know what’s going to happen to me during a full moon when a Werewolf is supposed to change, because, technically I am both Vampire and Werewolf, so what do I change into. A mixture of both?" I say very confused. We are almost in a dancing position right now. My head on his shoulder. His arms around my waist. And my arms around his neck. I am glad, though because he can't see my face.
"I wish I knew, Jade. Look, there was nothing written in the books about being both mystical creatures. And if there was, we wouldn't have this problem. We don't know what is going to happen. But I don't want you to be afraid. I am here. With you. And I am going to stay beside you the whole way. No matter what."
I frown and let out a huff. "I don't like the sound of that." I say looking at Damon's overly confused facial expressions. "No matter what. But it's something I am going to have to face. With you, right?" Damon nods his head. "I should go wash up."
Finally, I turn around and go inside the bathroom to wash up all the extra make-up off my face from last night. Last night I was so tired, I didn't even get a chance to wipe any of it away. I look into the mirror as I wipe away the black from under my eyes. Once I am done washing off all my make-up, I get into some blue jeans and a normal green tank-top.

"Come on, Jade." Damon says quickly. "It's time. We have to go. Get a pair of shoes on, we need to go tie ourselves up."
I frown in fear and pick up a pair of sneakers. I slip them on and run out to the car where Damon is waiting for me. A second after I slam the car door shut, the car starts and he backs away quickly. It about eight o'clock right now and we might be late tying ourselves up. Only because we start changing a few hours before it hits 12 o'clock; midnight.
"You’re lucky, Damon. You can change whenever you want you don't have to change tonight if you don't want to. You can control it. I can't."
"No, you’re wrong. I have to do this with you. It wouldn't be fair if you were changing alone." He says staring at the road, but trying, every once in a while, to look at me for a second. Why is my life so hard right now? I am just not having any luck.
"Together." I say. "I love you. And if I don't live after tonight, I want you to know that." I hold my hand gently in his. I frown and turn my head back at the road.
-"Don't say that!" Damon raised his voice to a low scream. "You are going to live through tonight. I promise. Nothing is going to happen to you. Who knows, being half Vampire and Werewolf you might not even change tonight."
"And if I don't, we don't know what I might do. I could go crazy. I could run off and leave and not look back through the whole night. I could kill innocent humans and I could eat animals that shouldn't be eaten. And worst of all, I might not be able to see you ever again." I say quickly with tears forming in my eyes.
Damon lowers his head and eyes in shame knowing I'm right. I made a good point. We have no clue what might happen tonight.
After a half hour drive, the car stops and we open our car doors quickly running to the back of the car to get the metal chains. Holding many chains in my hand, I follow Damon into a cave looking thing. I've been in here before. Last time I changed, this is where we went. This is the only place we've been. And now this is going to be only my third time changing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time goes by slow after chaining ourselves up, but I can see Damon is starting to get all the pains rushing through his body and he is starting to form when nothing is happening to me. I hear him screaming and crying from all the pain.
I slid my back down the wall, holding my ears, not wanting to listen to him scream. It's too painful to hear, or watch. I slam my head onto my knees still not wanting any concern of how much pain he is going through. It only makes me sadder.
Why isn't anything happening to me? So if I don't change, then what do I do. Suddenly, a force takes over and I can't control myself. I am not changing into a Werewolf it seems, and I am not sure what is really happening. Suddenly, I rip my arms to where the chains go off, but I am still not a Werewolf, how do I have this kind of strength.
Not giving my body to hesitate, I run off into the woods and I lift my head up high.
As I run, I can feel my pulse and my heart beeping uncontrollably. My legs won’t stop moving, but I am moving at what seems to be super speed. Like three hundred miles per hour! I can see almost every tree pass me by, though. I can't stop breathing as heavy as I am with the speed I am going. It’s hard to stop your legs when you are at a pace so high.
Suddenly, I fall to the floor and bump my head on a huge rock. And immediately, I am out cold. I can't see any shades or colors. Black clouds up my eyes to where I can't see anything. I can feel my breath slowing down. Am I going to die?
My eyes burst open quickly. I sit up and start to look around. Everything is a blur. Suddenly, one thing comes to interest of what I see. Chloe? I get up on my feet quickly and take a few steps back. My eyes circle through her whole body. Yet, she still has a Werewolf bite on her neck. It has seemed to healed. "Chloe?" I say in complete shock.
"Jade." she says almost malking me.
"Damon killed you! I saw him transform and trample you and bite you! Why aren't you dead? How are you alive! You should be dead!" I yell throwing my arms back.
"And so should you..." She says. "Look, you guys think you can kill me? Well, you’re wrong. I'm here and alive and ready to kill Damon. No matter what it takes, he is going to be dead. I don't care what you do or what you say, once he is gone, there’s no saving him. I mean, he used up his last witch he knew. So, what should or better yet, what can he do to be alive again? I know you want me dead. But here’s a fact your just going to have to accept. I'm not dying. Ever!"
I flinch as she steps closer to me. "And what are you going to do to me? Kill me again?" I asked with a steady voice. "Because it didn't seem to work last time!"
