Landon

We walked through a hallway on the first floor, and went all the way at the end and went through the right door. I closed the door behind me and it was a room with a couch, a window, a night stand, and a coffee table. I raised an eyebrow while he walks to the couch and plops himself on it.

"I come here to clear my thoughts or come here if I don't want to talk to the rest of the guys." He said while he rubs his eyes and sighs.

"Look. You can sleep here. I'm going back home and I'll come back in the morning." He got back up and was about to leave but I stepped in front of him.

"You're just going to leave me in here?" I said while I raised an eyebrow while he stared at me with a bored look. "Yes."

"Woah. Hold up, you can't just take me here and then leave me the next second. That's not how I roll."

"Well look Landon. I want to go home and sleep. I don't know, it's like four in the morning. I've been up since six in the morning. I'm leaving." He started to walk past me but I got his arm.

"Well, can I go over. Boss said that he doesn't know what to do with me till the morning. I'll just come with you when you come back. Please, I don't know anyone here and you're the only one I got." I said while he looked at me in the eyes.

He narrowed his eyes while I started to pout my lips, "you're fûckin annoying you know that." He growled while he pushed me away and walked towards the door.

"I get that a lot." I said while I started to follow him out.

"Yeah. Change that."  He murmured. We walked out the hallway and back to the front door but we got stopped by the guy that held my arms painfully. I glared at him while he smirked down at us. He wasn't that taller than us but we just had to look up slightly.

"What do you want Daemon." Jaxon said with annoyance clearly in his voice.

"The new guy and you, boss wants both of you before you leave." He smirked and pushed our shoulders with his as he squeezed himself in between us. I rolled my eyes and started to walk towards up stairs.

Jaxon sighed but we both walked up stairs. He knocked on the door and a grunt was all I heard, but Jaxon took that as sign to open it. I walked in first and I saw him drinking. When he was down he placed the glass on his desk and smiled at us. I walked towards the seat and sat down while Jaxon sat next to me.

"Jaxon." He smiled, "tomorrow I need you to go visit one of the clubs. Check if everything alright. I want you to take Landon with you. Show him what he's going to be doing. I want you to teach him everything you know about the clubs, sellers, buyers, profits, and the targets. Also, teach him to shot a damn gun, I highly doubt he knows how to. And for you Landon." He looked over to me while I raised an eyebrow.

"You would listen to Jaxon. Even though he's young like you, he's starting to become my go to man. I want the same with you. Now, you two are to attend there at 10am. I don't care if you didn't get any sleep. That's it. Leave." And me and Jaxon got up and walked out of the door but I heard Jaxon said Boss and I saw him in the corner of my eye nodding.

I raised an eyebrow at him as we walked out but he ignored me. He lead me out of the house and we started to walk down the long driveway, towards the gates that locked this huge estate. "Sooo, where do you live?"

"About ten miles away-"

My eyes bulged out and my mouth dropped, "ten fûckin miles!?"
