LandonAnother two months flew by. Nothing exciting happened, all that happen was me trying to learn how to speak again, which I can now, and I like to say I'm proud of myself for dodging death but it always comes with a cost, but I fought through that cost and learned how to speak again. I had to have that tube in my throat for awhile and I'm so glad it's gone now.
Boss came once again and said he was one of my relatives and payed for my bill. He came up to me after and told me, 'you'll be working for free for awhile. This money ain't for free. Even if you saved one of my men.' He basically growled that in my face. Let me tell you, hearing that I won't be getting payed for awhile sucks. It really does.
We went back home and it feels good to be in that little house I like to call home now, even though I haven't been there for a bit, but it's still very special to me.
"Why is it so pink? And why does it look like your skin is stretched tightly there?" Axel said as he was trying to getting a better look at my new scar. It was pink and it did look stretched, like they were pulling skin to cover that hole, and I'm pretty sure they did.
"I don't fûckin know Axel! Piss off." I continued to eat chips as I was watching tv, I don't know what I'm watching but it's better than nothing.
He mumbled something like always and then leaned back into the sofa and watched as well. I kept looking towards the door and then back at the tv, seeing if Jaxon would come home. Show after show and my eyes started to become lazy. Like, one would blink then the other. Felt like I was going to have a lazy eye.
I was about to decide that I was going to take a nap, but when the door knob jiggled then the lock unlocked, the sleepiness washed away. My head snapped towards the door and in came Jaxon. He looked somewhat happy, but he was those "tough" guys that has to have those serious face all the time.
"What happened to you?" I asked as one of my eyebrow started to raise. He closed he door behind him and I saw his lip twitch slightly but he forced it down. "Nothing." He said bluntly. He walked himself to the kitchen and pulled open the fridge and looked for whatever he wanted. I got off the sofa and walked my way towards him. His cheeks were somewhat red and my lips curled into a smirk.
"My cheeks turned red when I saw those girls a long time ago, so who did you see? Clearly it wasn't your ma that made you blush like this. Tell me." I said and I leaned on the freezer door as I stared at him. He slammed the fridge door shut and stared at me with a bored look. "I said nothing, so it's nothing Landon."
I squinted my eyes as my lips were still it that smirk, "hmm. Then why you red?"
"Hot outside. Had to walk back home too."
"It's hot outside? Really? In the afternoon with strong winds and a cloudy sky?" He pushed me away and walked away.
"Hop off my dick for once." He hissed at me. I gave him a chuckle and followed after him as he walked up stairs.
"I'll be riding that mother fûcker hard if I was on your di- oph." He turned around kicked my stomach. I held it for awhile as I stared up at him as my lips were slowly forming back into the smile. He rolled his eyes and continued up the stairs.
"Fûckin gross I swear." He mumbled and I couldn't help but bark out a laugh. "It's true." I said. And this time I made him give me a soft chuckle. We made it to his room and I quickly made my way to his bean bag. I threw myself on it and kinda missed it- a lot, and groaned when my back hit the side of his bed.
