Landon
"Hey....um." I started to play with my fri as he was drinking his drink.
"Hm?" He said as he gulped.
"Er, um, is...is it okay..." I started to rub my neck and not look at him.
"What is it Landon?"
"Fûck, this is harder than I thought." I mumbled. "Okay." I looked up and I see him staring at me but messing around with his straw. "Is it okay, if...um, I can stay with you....at your place, till I find...somewhere to stay?" I asked as furrowed my eyebrows and gave a awkward smile.
He took another sip out of his straw and the seconds past, and dread and regret started to pool into my veins.
He opened his mouth but I cut him off. "It was a stupid question. It's fine. I have a place on the couch. Okay, lets go. I'm afraid of what Boss will say from the wreckage from the car." I got up and pulled up my pants slightly and wiped my hands on my pants and looked at the exit. When I didn't hear or see Jaxon get up, I looked back down at him and see him with a raised eyebrow.
"Come on. It's already, I don't know, like two? Come on."
"Landon. I was going to say it fine, but you didn't even let me answer."
"Oh...you were?"
"Yes." He laughed.
"Oh okay." I smiled. He shook his head but got up.
"At least let me provide you a roof over your head, since you saved my life." He smiled. I smiled back and nodded.
"I didn't second think about it. Just did it." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.
"Yeah, and that saved my life." He came up to me and hugged me. I hugged him back and nodded at him when he pulled away.
"Lets go."

"Well, I guess you two are good. Here." He tossed us two stacks a couple of hundreds each wrapped up in rubber bands. My eyes grew wide as my mouth fell open. I had to blink a couple of times, just looking at this.
"You're joking." I said as I looked back and forth to him and Boss.
"No." He said with a blank face and no emotion in his words.
Jaxon took it and didn't say a word. I still couldn't process the amount of money in the rubber bands. I hesitantly took the money and held it on my lap. Boss took a seat on his chair and looked at us as lighting a cigar.
"You should've killed them you know. I wouldn't have mind." He said as he took a puff of the thick tobacco. Jaxon didn't say anything, just stared at him.
"K-kill them?" I asked as I was on the edge of my seat.
"Yeah, clearly they were trying to do it too. Why not do it first?" He said as he blew out.
I slumped on the chair and I exhaled hard. I ran one hand through my hair and blinked a couple of times. "I don-"
"Do it next time. Leave." Jaxon was the first one to get up and walked towards the door. I quickly grabbed the money and walked towards the door.
The only word that Jaxon said through out the whole time we were here with Boss, was either greet him and say goodbye. I said goodbye and quickly closed the door. I rushed towards Jaxons side and I couldn't find words to say.
