Rebirth: Mentality

the feeling

i felt the rush of adrenaline come over me my neck bled, he licked up the mess. a hot tear fell from my eye i felt a little pain but not the pain that makes you feel as if your dying the pain of a broken heart i felt what he felt i could see his memories i saw when he first saw me and how he felt. 

"oh alex I'm sorry did i put you in any pain" he sound convincingly worried.

"no its just i feel your pain and i can hear your thoughts" i said.

"its what happens after the bite, we combined our bodies into one we are connected if you get hurt i will know if someone hurts you i will know and no other werewolf or supernatural being can't find your scent or mate with you because alex i have been meaning to tell you are my mate. i will never let anyone hurt you i love you the bite was a symbol of my love to you and it united us into one" he said 

"i don't know what to say " i squalled 

then he picked me up and spun me around. 

there was a knock on the door derek quickly dropped me and ran to the bathroom i slipped on a tee shirt and shorts.

"hey alex i do mean to interrupt" said Vivian.

"derek its okay " i whispered 

i opened the door and let her in.

"what happened in here" she asked. 

"ummm.." i said turning around looking at the mess.

"what is that ?" said asked cautiously.

"ummm..well" i said.

"DEREK"she screamed.

"yeah" he answered nervously.

he peeked out of the bathroom to looked at her.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT YOU KNOW ITS DANGEROUS!!" she screamed.

"she'll be fine, you don't know what you're talking about" he said 

"ughh" she stomped off.

"derek what is she talking about"i said 

"their is a myth that if your mate doesn't love you then the bite/imprint will kill you then your mate will die shortly after, what happened to vivian's parents after she was born they tried this and well they just didn't click" he said.

"oh well if it happens to kill me then it just happens"i said.

"NO, i couldn't live with out you i would turn myself in to the hunters cause there is no color in the world without you alex "he said. 

he seemed very angry and scared at the same time.

"Derek let's go for a midnight snack"i said. 

"ok maybe that will calm my nerves " he smiled.

"i have just the thing" i said.

i opened the door and we both peaked out then i shortly realized Derek was in a robe but butt naked. 

"Derek go put o a shirt and maybe some boxers or something"i whispered.

"okay"he whispered.

he ran back in the room and 3 or 4 seconds later he was done.

"wow that was fast" i whispered.

we walked down the hall to the un fixed stairs from where aria pushed me and there was blood on the railing. the living room lights where on and everyone was down there watching twilight on the eight seater couch i thought that movie was the best supernatural book and movie but who I'm i to say. vivian and ade  were making dinner i think i looked to be Japanese it was the baby corn, green beans,broccoli and chicken. they also had sesame chicken in anther pot and a lot of egg rolls.

"hey let me help you, the both of you shouldn't be cooking i need to help you" i said 

"NO, Alex you have done enough " she said.

"Vivian whats wrong with you ?" Derek screamed. 

"nothing" she said.

she through the spoon down and stormed off to the back deck.

"here ill help" Derek said.

"thank you Derek, thank you for everything i probably wouldn't be here with out you" he started to tear up. 

"ohh don't be its my pleasure" he responded.

"whats wrong with vivian ?" i asked pleasantly.

"i don't know ever since she came down from yawls room she's been like that" Ade said.

"well I'm going to  talk to her i think i know what this is about" said Derek.

"let me come with you" i said.

"No, Alex this is something i have to do alone" he said in a sigh.

"Alex,  can you help me cook and i got some stuff for you and we need to talk" she smiled.
