Monday sucked.

And it wasn't because of the usual sucky-ness that Mondays typically had to offer.

As much as Lance loved the newfound affection he was receiving from you, he definitely missed the old (Y/n).

At first, none of the team was really phased at you being bitten by the love bug.

Keith, however, was in a constant state of grumpiness.

"Can you please at least try to keep (Y/n) off of you while we eat?" complains Keith.

You had scooted your chair very closely to Lance's during dinner on Monday evening. You were eating with your dominant hand, while clinging onto Lance with your other arm.

Lance aimed a stink face at Keith. He turned to you with a softened expression. "Hey, (Y/n)?"

"Yes, Lance?" You chirp, sitting up and giving your full attention to him.

"Do you think you could let go for now? I can't really eat with you doing that. And I think we're giving Keith a case of the grumpy-grumps," he sends a pointed look toward Keith.

Keith sticks his tongue out at him.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to annoy you," you apologize frantically and let go.

"No, no, it's okay! Really," Lance assures you, seeing your crestfallen expression.

"How long does this last, again?" questions Hunk, exasperated of your uncharacteristic actions.

"According to Allura, about a week," Shiro answers sullenly.

Everyone groaned in unison.

"I miss (Y/nnnnnn)," Pidge whined.

"We all do," grumbled Keith.

"Hey, don't make her feel bad, she still has feelings even though she's not herself right now," Lance defends.

"No offense, Lance, but the only opinions that (Y/n) cares about right now are yours," Pidge points out.

Lance frowns, knowing that she was right. He silently finished his dinner, wondering how the rest of the week would go.

Tuesday wasn't any different from the day before.

The team steered clear of you and Lance, except for during mealtimes and the morning briefings.

You and Lance were currently in your room, listening to music.

"Lance?" You chimed.

"Yes, Lovebug?"

"I'm bored. Can we cuddle?"

Lance looked at you from his seat in a bean bag chair on the floor. "Are you sure?"

You nodded with certainty.

Lance got up and sat next to you on your bed.

You pulled him down to lay down with you and he awkwardly wrapped his arms around you.

You rested your head comfortably on his chest. He hoped you didn't notice the rapid thumping of his heartbeat.
