By the time you finished talking, Hunk sat there silently contemplating.

You shifted uncomfortably, "So...whaddya think?"

"I think you're being overdramatic."

"Gee, thanks."

"Hear me out. Lance has always felt second best to Keith, whether he shows it or not. I mean sure, maybe he did almost say yes to that alien girl. He just wants what's best for you, so it sounds like he was willing to step aside and try to move on so that you could have Keith," Hunk explained.

You stared at Hunk in awe. "Holy heck, I feel terrible. This is all my fault for being a drama queen," you buried your face in your hands.

He placed a hand on your shoulder and continued on, "Lance is into you, and only you. So don't get all worked up over one random alien girl. For what it's worth, I think that no one in the galaxy is better for you than Lance."

You lifted your head out of your hands and smiled, "Thanks, ya big softie."

"Anytime."

"You know, you could be a therapist someday."

"So I've been told," he shrugged casually, "Now go get your mans!"

You laughed and held up your hands defensively, "Okay, okay!"

You had found Lance sprawled out, asleep in the game room with a half-empty bag of chips on his stomach.

You plopped down beside him on the couch and fed yourself a chip.

Nudging his sleeping figure beside you, his eyelids slowly lifted up.

Once his eyes focused on you and comprehended what was going on, his eyes widened and he sat up.

"(Y/n)!" He greeted awkwardly, "Hi."

You smiled, "Sup. Chip?" You offered, lifting the bag up to his face.

"Are you offering me my own bag of chips?" Lance questioned, amused.

"Perhaps I am," you shrugged, "Are you declining my kind offer?"

"Of course not," he replied, grabbing a handful of chips and shoving them into his mouth.

"So," he muffled, crunching the chips in his mouth, "Is everything...okay?"

You scooted closer, "I wanted to apologize."

Lance furrowed his eyebrows, "But I was the one wh-"

"I know, but it was my fault for getting all worked up over nothing. I shouldn't have been so selfish. I let my teenage angst and insecurities get the best of me. I really like you, Lance."

He smiled cheekily, "I really like you too, (Y/n)."

"Sooo, wanna be my boyfriend for real this time?"

To this he smiled even bigger, "I would love to."
