Hera's POV

It has been a year since i became a trainee. And it's been 1 year and 6 months since Samuel left me.

Yes, I still mind it. Even though I wanted to focus on my training, I can't erase it in my mind. It still bothers me. How is he doing right now? I hope he's having so much fun.

I don't know how I made to hold on this long. I don't know why I cannot let go. It is still him that I wanted to see everyday. Even in school. I still go to school even though I'm already a trainee. Education is still important. I'm just having a hard time managing my time.

The year was quiet fun. And I made a lot of friends! Then what excites me the most is that, we trainees could interact with Seventeen and Nuest!

Hoshi oppa always choreograph dance steps for us. He is really supportive! He is an ideal brother.

I've talked to Hoshi oppa already. He is the nicest person I've talked to. He gave me advices especially that I'm pursuing my studies while having training. He also experienced my situation as well.

We already saw the dance practice of Seventeen. For real. They are so amazing! Everytime I see them dance, I always fangirl! Like really! Fangirl goals! Especially when I see Wonwoo oppa! ♥

It is really great to work with them. We are all lucky because we can see them everytime. And we are really grateful for that opportunity.

We already have a performance with the male trainees. Somewhat like, a collaboration.  Met nice guys. Ji Na always fangirl bout the boys.Ji Na and I became close friends. She is like a bestfriend and a sister to me. We have a lot of similarities and maybe that was the reason why we became close.

*ring*

"Hi mom!" I said

"How was your day? Did it went well?" Mom's asking my condition.

"It's fine mom, as usual." I replied assuring her that everything is going well.

"Oh. It's your dad's birthday tomorrow. Are you free?"

"Yes mom. I already got the permission of Mr. Kang. I won't miss dad's birthday!" I said then smiled.

"Ok. So, we will wait for you tomorrow! Bye! Take care!"

"Bye mom!" Then I ended the call.

It's dad's birthday tomorrow! Yay! Another year of his existence. My dad will turn 61 tomorrow. I already prepared my birthday present for him.

I wish dad a long, happy and progressive life.

Samuel's POV

"Sammy ya! Let's go shopping! It's been 3 months since our last shopping together." Here she is again. Whining like a kid.

"I don't want to go out right now." I said. I'm too lazy.

"Ya! You should accompany me."

"I'm not in the condition right now Riyu. Just go shop by yourself." I replied.

"You're so mean." Finally, she went out.

I just smiled looking at her reaction. She's so funny.  She never changed. She's just like the Riyu I've known before. She gives me that kind of good vibe even though my day went wrong.

Well, I'm feeling so well these days. I had a lot of new experiences.

The decision I made for the past one year and six months is turning out so well. I don't regret anything. I don't regret the outcomes of my decision. Someday. I'll be reaching a thing that could make me happy. I'll be free.

No more hard feelings. No more unhappy thoughts. No more looking back.

"Sammy ya!" I knew it. She'd go back.

"Let's go shopping!" So childish.

"Force me to." I said just to tease her.

"Aigo! You're too old for that Sammy!" Look who's talking!  Haha. This kid needs so much patience. Lol.

"Fine. I'll go with you!" I don't have any choice tho.

"Yay! Thank youu!" She said while jumping.

So we really went out for shopping. I ended up paying her stuffs. This girl is really a money waster. Haha. I am his bank. She already has too much credit from me.

"Thank you." She said then hugged me.

"You're welcome Riyu." I replied.

I'm happy to see her happy. I could live like this forever.

My phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered the call.

"Samuel, it's been a long time! I thought you changed your number because I cannot reach you for a long time!" Jiyu said and I can feel the amusement in her voice.

"Yeah. It's been a long time." I replied as I scratch my neck.

"I never heard anything from you. Do you have any free time? Let's go out together with our squad!" My emotion suddenly changed.

"Hey Samuel! Still there?" I snapped out of it and realised that I'm staring at the wall for a long time.

"Yeah sure. Maybe some time. Still busy right now. I'll just text you." I said.

"Ok! Yay! This excites me! Annyeong!" She said as she ended the call.

I missed hanging out with them.

It's been a very long time.
