So I was having an ok day until then. I didn't have practice, I had a great lunch. Everything was fine. I was actually on my way to see Kana. I hadn't heard how she was doing so I decided to check on her. I was wearing a pair of black sweats with a dark purple tee shirt and a white jacket with a purple stripe on the side. I walked up the steps, one hand in my pocket and headed towards her apartment door. I raised my fist to knock but it was already open.

I opened the door and before me, on the couch, was something I had wished to go my entire life without seeing, "Hey!" I shouted, anger rising inside me.

Midorima, with Kaname pinned down and in this position just did not process correctly in my mind.

I went to the couch and pulled Midorima off the couch by his shirt, "What the hell are you doing?!"

Midorima didn't say anything as Kaname got off the couch and stuttered to say anything, "U-um... It's n-not what it seems! I swear!"

The whole situation did not seem appropriate nor did I care. I wasn't going to have him on her like that. Oh have you figured out who I am yet? It's..

~

At the door was Aomine! Kaname here. I watched Midorima be lifted off of me. I scrambled to my feet, fixing my clothes and such as I struggled for my words.

"U-umm... It's n-not what it seems! I swear!" This is not how this day should've gone. There really could not have been a worse outcome for this. "Aomine put him down. Please."

Aomine looked at me, clearly irritated and hesitant to put Midorima down. "Why should I? He was all over you like some dog."

Midorima pushed up his glasses, "I resent that statement."

"Shut up!" Aomine responded.

I cut in between the conversation before it got out of hand. "Stop it! Midorima was not all over me. It was an accident. I tripped and he got pulled down. Nothing happened and nothing was going to happen. It was bad timing on your part. And Midorima, if you had left when I told you to, this wouldn't have happened. It's all of our faults but it's also none of our faults ok?! Now put him down or you can both get out."

Aomine grumbled and then put Midorima down. Midorima fixed his clothes with a sigh.

I ran my fingers through my hair, "Thank you. Like I was saying. Nothing was going to happen so don't overreact like that."

Aomine rolled his eyes and shoved one hand into his pocket, "I think I acted appropriately, considering some guy was all over my little sister."

Midorima tilted his head slightly, "I have a name and she's not your little sister." he corrected.

"Don't start you two. Aomine is like my big brother so he can call me that. Since the two of you are in my apartment, I'd appreciate it if you get along." Aomine and Midorima looked at each other. "Come on. Friends fight but don't let this get out of hand."

Aomine narrowed his eyes before sighing, "Whatever. Only because Kana asked." he grumbled, unhappily.

I sighed and looked at Aomine, "Could you give us a minute?" I asked softly. Aomine huffed and walked off down the hall somewhere, leaving Midorima and I alone. "Midorima."

He raised his hand up, "Don't worry. There's no need to apologize."

I raised an eyebrow, "Me apologize? Why should I?"

"It was your fault that this entire situation occurred," Midorima said as if it was the most obvious thing.

"Now explain to me exactly how this is all my fault," I said, honestly confused and interested to know.
